Visited with a sick MC yesterday, hope I don't get sick now. We hit up the Norwalk Turner's. I got a really good deal from the coot comander (hunting buddy Jesse that works there) there on a much needed decoy bag. Turner's has a sale going on for Ruger 10/22's for $209. I may have to pick one up since I don't have one yet.

If you are in the market for an Isearli FN mauser that shoot's 7.62 NATO, Ammo Bros. has one for $249. I would have bought it in a heart beat if it was in a little better shape. The barrel had more wear & tear than I like. I will buy beat up guns as long as the barrel is in nice shape.

I so need an Israeli Mauser but I want the version with the large Star of David crest and not too beat up and not tto expensive, a tall order.

Yes - Very fast drying time - But, I've removed all the carpet in my house - All engineered wood now - A bit nippy in the inclement weather but much cleaner for me -

I have all tile.  This is common in Italy as well.  My filthy house would be even worse with carpet.

I thought of that while sipping rum last night, especially as it fell on a Sunday like the day it happened.  I wonder how many vets are around still from it. I still see a Pearl Harbor survivor license plate 1-2 times a year. 

I may switch my allegance to vodka.  High quality rums tend to be smooth but have a off taste from the wood casks used in ageing and I have not found a 100% quality white mixing rum I like yet.

Also had some Don Julio circa 1942.  Taste like arse, but bragging rights are good.

It seems the premium liquors are smoooooooooooth but have an off taste.  Or I have an unrefined palate.  I actually like light Bacardi and Tecate and Bud Light more than stuff that costs much more sometimes.

That was nice of you with the parents, many would not want to do that.  That sucks with the credit cards as I assume that you lose the 3% or so then?  Surprised so many using those in a restaurant,at a gas station or something like that I cou;d see that though.

No FMJ?  All ammo must be jsp of jhp or lead? 

A indoor range local to me does not allow non jacketed lead projectiles.
