Not really.
I had a USP for 10 years.
It was not really that interesting of a gun.
It sits too high.
The mag release is not like anything else so it reverses your muscle memory.
I finally got rid of it last year.

Well ive never handled one , im just going on looks solely and assuming its a reliable brand h&k , what about the sig 229 ? i like those also

Awesome - We still have a lot of family in Hanoi and Hai Phong - Tour the old quarters? My Uncle used to live in Pho Thuoc Bac, he's passed away - My father and mother is also from around the area - Did you make it out to Halong Bay?

the CETME and the AR.

THe ar was jamming the bolt closed. It will not open with a live round! I will pull the charging handle like a mofo and nothing , the RO was cool and help'd me and showed me a trick ... slam the crap out of the rifle againts a sturdy table with muzzle pointing in air while pulling the charging handle and it worked. I was shooting some reloads i bough off calguns ( the one the guy said he was having problems with ...DAMN! ) BUT if you guys remember that i did a guncase with my guitar case and i was cutting styrofoam and using my rifles so i can trace them and a few dots of styrofoam got around the bolt area when i dissasembled it i saw like 3 or 4 of those small "snowflake" type styrofoam come out of there...what do you guys think?

I forgot to clean it and the styrofoam caused the jamming. or the reloads ? (When ever it jamed the bolt stayed inthe closed position with a live round and it will not let me open it )

the cetme functioned flawlessly BUT i belive the magazine was giving me problems, i twill NEVER feed the last 2 rounds and the last 3rd round got stuck , the followerd seemed a bit looped sided , but not sure if thats how they are on hk waffle mags , the magazine is a NEW 10 round magazine that is HARD to put on the gun i guess i have to "break it in" but its a PITA to put on the rifle, how do i check if its the mag or do i have to somehow break in the mag ?

Bean - Take your AR to Randall for a look over - Slamming that hard is not healthy for the gun - The fuzzballs should not have caused that much problems for you - Try those reloads in another rifle -

With the Cetme - Are you using the correct mags? Heard that G3 mags sometimes causes problems -

Yeah il pm randal in a bit

Im using G3 waffle mags. CETME mags are usually metal and smooth , G3 are aluminu and waffle pater i belive. Well the 10round i bough is waffle style BUT i think its metal might be aluminum. Either way its really hard to put on the rifle compared compared to my 20rd rebuild kits that are nice and worn and slide in with ease , the new 10round is really stiff , but it confused me why it wont feed the last 2 rounds . I was using what i belive is south african surplus on the CETME

Ammo is probably too long in headspace length.
There's a way to re-size loaded rounds, but it's not recommended.
I'm in the middle of adjusting headspace on 50 rounds of 308 that was loaded for a longer chamber.
They are getting bumped 0.003" shorter to fit the other 308 gun I built last weekend.
I didn't really enjoy taking showers with other men though I have done it
I move a lot...and drool....

I think the guy mentioned something about the brass maybe being to big ? Or something along those lines , dont know, so you think its the ammo ?

It jamed' on me twice while only shooting no more than 4 rounds before it jame'd each time , i dint want to shoot it to anymore to slow down the time guys had to go change their targets because the RO had to help me each time and i  only shot that brass reloads

Bring the ammo over and I can measure it.

Will do, I only have like 20ish rounds left of those reloads, I will not use them anymore but i will take them to you to make sure that it is the ammo and i dint damage anything , also maybe you can teach how to properly clean an AR , and what oils and stuff to use , i just have a cheap cleaning kit

LOL

Yes i wont shoot that any more , first time at angeles and i like it! We got lost and missed teh angeles exit went a few miles to far up the hill lol.

BTW

I LOVE MY AR WITH THE CTR STOCK! you cant even feel the recoil at all , and its really silent. Compared to my cheap collapsible stock i had on there where the recoil was harder and it kinda made a slaping noise. Idk i just like my ar with the ctr stock feels sturdier just wish it ditn jam that much :(

It's killing me not having an AR here.
Next year.

Gunaria is here working on line drawings of the product for me.
Lunch time, maybe I will go get some burritos or something.

Sell me your Howa
Sell me your AR
Soon you will need money for handguns.
I will be here.
