I did, and it was some funky one and did not work either. I thought maybe they shut my card off again. That happened before, with no notice at all, because there were a bunch of accts at the bank that were "compromised"

I feel like crap a bit still but I'm gonna catch up here.  The alcohol didn't really get me, no big hangover but I'm sure it was not a smart thing to do while sick.  Rode my motorcycle today too which wore me out.  Met up with Gunaria and his bro for a little bit too.

Naw, I have been thru there.  Some awesome lightening storms!  I will be in Glamis.  South of Blythe, north of Yuma, in Cali.  HUGE sand dunes

I wonder how many illegals and how much drugs have crossed that barrier?

What are you doing in my neighborhood -

I went to Bloomington Christian School for K-3rd grade.
Does that make me a Colton local too?

Did the Christian education take at all? :D

My liver hurts

Mine has lately too, bday celebrating and all.  It's no joke though, my great uncle died on the liver waiting lists, a Vietnam and Korean DMZ vet.  Don't forget some SoCal hospitals have illegals on the transplant list too...

[\

My first phone number was on a colton exchange, 714-824-6462
Of course you have to go back a while to when the whole IE was still 714.
My grandma's number in Fontana used to be 213 before they created 714...
[/quote]

That was a LONG time ago.  I collect Chick tracks, and some of the have the old 714 area code on them for non OC locations.

Sounds like most of your family is from/in the area -

I grew up in those hills just south of Fontana where Sierra Ave crosses the Riverside county line.
The family business is in Ontario.
Went to school in Riverside.

What is the family business?

Man the Indians are going crazy in Mumbai - Supposedly they captured quite a few hostages - They are looking for Americans and Brits -

I could really care less about India or Indian culture or food.  The Hindus were protesting about this thing today in my area.

HAPPY TURK-AY DAY! Or in my case Duck Day. My bro & I got 11 of them yesterday. :)

Just caught up on the last few pages here. Glad to see some old faces poppin in to say hi.

Off to go prep some more food.

I ate a bit, changed my attitude about duck.  Gunaria is a decent cook and a gracious.generous host.

My car got broken into overnight.
Jerkoff got away with both ipods, charger, and who knows what else.
At least they didn't break the window or take my registration.
Crappy Thanksgiving.  >:(
Yeah I heard of this even while I was gone, I still texted and called certain members.  That sucks, really though so good the guns were safe.

My Thanksgiving was ok but a bit weird.  Had an ok time, spend most of it with a family friend.  Felt bad as the black sheep brother did not eat with us, seemed a sort of statement.  I brought Pollys pies, we had carne asada as well as turkey and ham available!

The family had over a very cute girl that kept making eyes at me , a family friend of theirs I didn't know previously, found out she was probably underage though :(

It's been clear all day here Vegas - Should be clear the entire weekend also - Weather should clear up for you also then - Not a system in sight -

Good News!  Thanks.  Wife wants to go shopping in Phoenix tomorrow; Sports Authority sales guy said they'd have 10/22s on sale for about  $175/180.  If they do, I think I'll pick one up and do one of those folding stock assault type things with it.  I've never done  that.  J&G seems to be pretty low on stock now, so I think I'll take a shorter route home and avoid Prescott.

I soooo need a good folding stock for the 10/22 perfect backpack/motorcycle to range gun.  I try not to leave valuables in the car either if possible and if I do park car where I can see it if I can.

Good morning - Get up and enjoy the day everyone -

I did get a call from a guy I work with after I logged off last night  though.  His brother isn't allowed to have a gun in the house by his gf--so he dug his .22 rifle out of my co-worker's garage and wanted to sell it.  A (supposedly barely used ) Remington 597 (OH WHY C OULDN"T IT HAVE BEEN ANYTHING ELSE????)

Anyway, I said I'd buy it for $75--they don't even know if they want a bill of sale or not.  I told him I'd write one up for him to make him feel better.  Why can't I work with people who have an old Colt or Smith or Garand or some cool war trophy they are afraid of?

Oh well, enjoy your leftovers all--I always liked leftovers!

My early 597 SUCKED and had a HEAVY trugger pull.  Newer ones are better I hear, I'd maybe try a .22mag or .17 version.  And sloppy seconds ain't my style :D

Mornin folks.

Cleanin up the house today, hanging out with the wife and the baby, might head out to do some hunting tonight.

Whatss everyone up to today?

Im gonna do most of my shopping online, screw retailers. ESPECiALLY gun stuff. Im never buying another thing at a California gunshop unless its absolutley essential!

Did you hunt?  And boycotting CA gunshops will make you miss out on some deals here and there, I can understand your sentiment some though, especially with stores like Turners or gougers like J&J and 10%.
