It's still down.

I decided to eat something warm, oatmeal.

Are you gonna make me some avena with brown azucar y crema next time I visit?  It's good for cholesterol.  My friend has never eaten oatmel except in a cookie!

My brown sugar bear broke though :(

Here's some shooting info about the SBNF;

Target shooting is only allowed in designated sites - Areas with designated sites for target shooting

Forest Road 1N09 East of Highway 330 - CLOSED to shooting and motorized vehicles.

Forest Road 3N14 North of Highway 38 (Closed - due to Butler 2 Fire)

Forest Road 2N02 East of Baldwin Lake Road - Open

Forest Road 2N93 Lighting Gulch - Open

Forest Road 5S07 North of Highway 74 - Open

The San Jacinto Ranger District has general forest areas open to target shooting, call the Ranger Station for locations - Open

Here's the linky; http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/sanbernardino/recreation/target/index.shtml

How far is these places from your pad?  I think I have been to some of them years ago.

I'd of been very happy to help with the taping or to just witness it.

I offered that assistance.
She said she had a mirror.
I told her I could make the mirror go away.

My war rifle collection is growing -

1917 Eddystone - Garand - AR -

Sweet! Thats all im collecting now, dont really care from what country i just want to get the standard infantry rifle from any country and they have to have the correct everything LOL

Does now=today, or does now=this week?

Try this.
Make a list of wants.
As you get new wants, look at the list and re-prioritize it.
Think about each thing carefully.
Only buy/trade for things on the list unless you get something for such a good deal you can't pass it up.

It's nice to focus but don't overlook delas on stuff outsde your focus if they are real good deals.  A collection of say all the WW2 battle rifles can get expensive too if you try to get every country and obscure variations.

Gunaria likes Belgian guns.  I like S&W revolvers and many modern handguns of many types, and some milsurp but I do try to limit long gun collecting, I have no room for more than the 55 or so I already own.  Where do you all focus your collecting?

why is it that mexican import coke bottle taste soooo much better? real sugar? or they still use real cocaine?

Where can you get the imported mexican coke in glass bottles in LA?

Mexican grocery stores, many of the non Americanized Mexican restaurants/taco trucks.

Any really hispanic store, if your gonna be at the bbq in a few weeks , il take you some

I usually bring Randall Mexican goodies like pan dulce(which I dislike generally) and some of the candies.  Gansitos, submarinos, ect. suck as well.  I want to find kosher for passover Coke.

I gave up watching most sports awhile back - Just stupidity everywhere -

I've got you one better...
I gave up watching TV in 1997.

I stopped excessive TV watching mostly in 1994, some years have watched almost zero.  I may give away my TV soon to a neighbor.  I do game a bit though and watch DVD's and some TV here and there.  I used to watch like 8 hours of TV sometime in a day at periods of my childhood!

I know about it but don't know what the 159 means.  I have mainly given up on .net and I have reservations about the new forum I wil discuss with you all at the next meet or privately time permitting, have done so with Marcelo already.

I will do the new forum a bit soon though, just not tonight or until later this week.

Rained out -

sup vatos

You know it.  Craving some oatmeal... hardcore.  Just read that Guna made some and how you served it at your joint.

Is it traditional to eat oatmeal in Mexico?  I don't think so.  Ever had that steel cut Irish type oatmeal?  I didn't really like it, it comes in a can.

Just to get Randall's blood moving this fine morning -

Man, I havent had one of those in a while.  Gotta keep low on the sugar intake.  Blood sugar started to rise and was warned about beinga diabetic.  All sugar free stuff for me now.  Once ina while ill have a little treat, but not alot.  I havent had a whole regular coke to myself in a couple years.

Diabetes runs in my family.  My dad has it especially hard partly possibly from agent orange.  Does reducing sugar intake but remaining overweight, does it really matter then?  I have heard arguments both ways if trying to prevent onset.

I like a regular fountain Pepsi sometimes.  I like ice tea w/o sugar generally though too.

I know about it but don't know what the 159 means.

I was having dinner with ohsmiley and a few other calgunners a week ago or so and we were talking about where some post was and ohsmiley blurts out something like 67, 71 or 73 and everyone is dumbfounded.
Then he explains how if you just look in your browser history that you will see all the forum numbers.
He has them memorized so he can just drop down his browser history and go right to a subforum without going to the main list of subforums.
We told him he's a geek for knowing the numbers and being able to recite all the popular ones.

159 is the new one.

DOUSED with Tapatio!

Mexicans will put chile and lime on anything.

One thing that prevents me from moving to Mexico is the many varied types of food I now enjoy such as deli type sandwiches and cranberry sauce and Thai food as examples would be hard to get in most/all areas down there.  Also I like my gun rights, Mexican ones are not all that good even compared to CA.

They can get the Glock 25 and 28 though that we generally can't.

Mexican beers in Mexico, meat and ice cream are generally better though.

Marcelo - How about these - Low in sugar -

I ususally have one or two a day in San Felipe.  Usually one right smack in the middle of the day at the warmest part of day... when im beer'd out, they taste the best.  I like the fresa.  Then, when I am at the taqueria at night, I usally enjoy another with din din.  Very good!

Fresas!  Remember when NWA rapped about "strawberries"? lol!  Isn't excessive beer /alcohol consumption bad for diabetes also or only when you are actually diabetic?

I belive Corona light is not even sold in Mexico, it is that bad.  I refuse to drink Mexican light beers.

Hopi, by beer'd out I mean after pounding about 4 cases A DAY, then on the fifth day, you just get beer'd out.  You need a little switch up... something cold, sweet, refreshing.  You know, then you get back to biz with the brewskis.

Thats what rum and cokes are for.

I think I honestly go thru about 4 cases (24 packs) of Dos XX a day when I am in San Felipe.  I specificly remember saving the embases all day and night, then in the morning, when we go to breakfast, I load the cases of empties in the rail, so that after we eat, we go swap them out for filled ones.  They taste so much more smooth down there.  Very good.  I just keep a little buzz goin all day, it doesn get me all plastered or nothing.  Just relaxation and slight intoxication FTW!

oh, and some BOMB a** tacos de camaron!

The fried type?  I know a place in TJ that does them well and a place in Norwalk called El Guero that does them ok too.  I have NEVER seen a non Hispanic in that place, I feel their non seafood items are marginal though.  I will occasionally see Asians and whites in Senor Baja, another sort of ok place.

I can't believe you can ingest that much beer!  I can drink a lot but that is insane.

Strap a M39 to your back to be more authentic, I'd not want to be a ski troop!

If I'd of went to Big Bear this weekend I'd still be stuck there!  Gunaria would have killed me by now I bet :D

Sneaky,  very sneaky.  I want my damn 10/22 already

I am hopefully going to get me one this Thrusday. It's a stainless model for $200.

Guna, MC and I are going back tonight.  Come down.  If you cant get your truck down the hill, frak it, ski down the mofo!

I have to come down the mountain for pato hunting tomorow anyway so we'll see but I doubt it since I have to wake up at 2:00 AM

Red bulls, or other stronger stuff can help.  I have slept 9 hours in 3 days before with just Mountain Dew and tea mainly to help.  The weekend of TANs demise from .net, Willow Springs shoot, pho meet,Randall BBQ ect.

[Well, what can i say.  Its a light beer :P  Naw, before my typical breakfast when I was going to go pump in the morning would have been 2 rockstars, a pack of twinkies, a snickers, and a 2 liter of Dew to drink thru out the day... and that was daily! Now im all about sugar free, very little to NO junk food (candys and sweets),  and really cut down on the beer.  Now I need to get my arse back in the gym.  Gotta get back down to hi school weight.

Me too, I am in worst shape of my life, gym and cutting back a bit is in order for me.  I love food a lot though, it's my passion besides guns and women at times :)

I am poor, 95% of my shooting has been .22lr for a LONG time now :(  Lickily my latest firearm is a .22lr also.  I plan o shooting right before the New Year as well, maybe with Lil Bean.

Hey Marcelo when do you want to go to TJ?  I know you are dying to put on your chunty clothes and get in touch with your people!  And I want to get in touch with some al pastor tacos and pirujas!

What is a piruja?

I sometimes wear a serape as you all know, must be in my blood.  I also own and use a shillelagh as a cane sometimes, must be because I am like 3% or so Irish :D  Also why I am an alcoholic I bet too.
