How about a .22lr lever gun?

I have a Browning BL-22.
It has a really short stroke so you can cycle with just your fingers.
No need to break your grip from the stock.
I didn't really enjoy taking showers with other men though I have done it

Hey all, how the night going?

Night is good. How are you doing?
Eh, not too well. Just found out the family dog died a night ago.  :'(

Too bad :'(  I will be quite sad when the pit bull I adopted dies, probably early due to all the people food and beer he drinks!

I still miss old family dogs that are long gone.

Yeah I was thinking of the Marlin 1894 Cowboy in .357/.38spl
A .22 would be fun too. I just want something that I can shoot at the Firing Line, since I don't get to outdoor ranges where I can fire my rifles that often.
I also want to do a 22 conversion on one of my AR-15s so I can shoot it there

EVERYONE need a .22lr handgun and rifle, preferably multiples.  That is all I shot except 20ga at Angeles yesterday.  Not a single calgunner I knew was there >:(  And I know Ojisan lives real close, I don't have his number.
I have a 1911 in .22, a Ruger mkiii, and a 10-22. So far.  :D

Neat and not often seen gun.  As smooth as a Henry?  Let me see it eventually.

I challenged TANners that were not at BBQ to identify all the handguns in pic but no one rose to the challenge, lol!

I could do it except that I can't tell some of the Llamas and stars from the 1911's

Is your 1911 a conversion kit or a dedicated 1911 for .22lr?  Are you gonna get an Ojisan 10/22 Thomspon look alike kit, lol!?

I have 30 firearms chambered in .22lr, people on rinfirecentral.com probably sometimes have well over 100!

geez, now I don't know, its in my safe at my pop's...

You're schooling me this morning.

Take a pic and send it to me when you can, and it is worth more than $20, they have a bit of a cult following.

I would never sell it, so the value doesn't matter, but neat to know they might be a bit popular.

So I've been thinking of picking up a lever-action rifle in a handgun caliber, maybe .357, any suggestions?

Winchester 94.  Do you have a revolver already?  You'll need the set, .44 would be my preference.  But, if you ever wanted to try cowboy shooting, youll need a caliber they had back then.  .357 should work, Randall might know better.  I got one in 30-30.  Sweet little carbine.
I have a GP 100 on layaway, just waiting out the rest of the stupid thirty days. :(
Winchester 94, cute! I don't necessarily want to do cowboy shooting, but wouldn't mind having a few of the guns :)

I have a lot of cowboy stuff(I love cowgirls, lol) but I don't do cowboy action shooting but I am relatively certain it does not require your guns be chambered in calibers that were available in old west times.

There are SO MANY classes that you can shoot pretty much anything.
There are even classes that use blackpowder loads.

Do your best, I'm sure you can do ok, pics are not so sharp that I'd blame you for that anyways, there is some less common non 1911 pattern 9mm in there.  Remember, all the handguns are 9x19 except the Makarov.

I've got an old school H&R Sportsman, I think.  It was my grandfather's carry pistol.  10 shots.  Probably isn't worth $20.  Nicely worn, but shoots just fine.

I have an S&W 10 shot model 17.

I do love guns that shoot .22lr, so cheap to shoot lol! I want a cheap bolt-action rifle sometime too. Just a little plinker.

No serail number?  It may be under the grip or on front gripstrap?  Looks just like my 1941 vintage example, I have an older one as well, lots of design changes with these.

On the handgun pic thread on .net there is pics of the more modern NEF/H&R 999 version.

Which FFL are you going to use?   How does a pistol PPT work?

Ironsights.
Same as rifle PPT.

So, TaN meet at Iron Sights this weekend??

A botl action .22lr?  Or what?  And I'd get the lever gun in .357 mag then sice you are getting a GP100, cheaper ammo, less recoil, abilty to shoot .38spls in it.

Winchester would be nice but will likely be expensive as mentioned.  I'd go Marlin but if a decent Rossi/Puma shows up should be ok, I had an older bad example though.

I'll have to look.  I mean, the thing is old, I just assumed they didn't serialize them back then.

No Henry, gave it away, can't afford a Golden Boy right now.  Ross, do more research on your H&R, they are neat and it probably has a serail number and can be dated, top break revolvers are neat.

I'd probably go used on the lever gun or Marlin.  I know little of the newer Puma/Rossi clones of the Winchester 92.

Bolt action .22lr, especially if a sigle shot can be had dirt cheap if used, I see them under $100 commonly.  I shot my chipmunk .22lr rifle a lot yesterday.  It has a pic of a chipmunk holding a rifle on the receiver!

I don't know why...  It was my first firearm, Mossberg 500.  I ended up doing the transfer at Johnson's Sporting Goods on Coast Highway.  That was a monumental screw up, too.  I don't know how she did the transfers, maybe by mail??  It took 3 weeks to get my shotgun???

I think Iron Sights just didn't want to receive out of state firearms.
