MIL is now transferred today to Pasadena Huntington hospital for surgery delayed until tomorrow afternoon.
Currently she is feling no pain! LOL

The freeway complex fire is by both my metal company and Suzuki. Freeways closed now, I suspect many will not be able to get to work tomorrow.
My Boss lives in Diamond Bar so he has had an exciting day for sure.
Glock30 had some excitment it seems.
One is out in Santa Clarita? Burning near him.

My favorite secret off road areas are burning in Placerita Canyon etc now.

My throat and eyes are burning still from Friday night in Sylmar.
It's been a rough weekend for everyone.

What a crappy weekend.  So far you've dodged the worst, MIL forgot to duck...  Once everything gets back to normal, you can start making some money...

Can I show you guys what I picked up today??

Randall, is Glockworx the best place to get parts? I know it is Rays site, isn't it? I would rather throw bus that way if it is a good place.

Glockworks is Alec.
Ray just works for him.

I have no dealings with them, good or bad.
My friend got Alec into competitive shooting though.
I didn't really enjoy taking showers with other men though I have done it

Mine is next Friday, hopefully. Got to work on that AK pistol deal also.

Ross, how much did you get it for? Looks nice.

Figured out a few of the problems on the 9mm AR clone today. The 10 rd mags that came with it do not have the notch for the bolt hold open. The mags ordered seperately do. Found the bolt kinda envelopes the mag lips and hangs up there. The mag lips on the different mags are also different. We polished up the mag lips a bit and it seems to work better, also polished up the feed ramp on the magwell adapter. I think this may do it. My son found a thread on the 1911 forum that a guy put up many-many different things that might have to be done to make this work smoothly.

It was right at $200.  Not the greatest deal, but cheaper than Turner's.  I had the FFL that received my lowers order it for me.  I thought that was the 'proper' thing to do rather than buy one online and have him receive it.  I'm not exactly sure how it works, but he didn't charge me a transfer fee on it either...

Lowly people like me say 45LC so people don't think "45 Colt" as in 45 Auto Colt Pistol.
Actually the 45 Schofield round was shorter than the 45 Colt round back in the cavalry army days...,so people back then called them the "long" Colt rounds.
Tankerman seems to love the bait thing...of well.

I really, truly gotta Z.
I b tyrd.

Best to all!
