That thing probably weighs about 400 pounds and the wife was the one that did most of the lifting trying to get it in the back of the truck. The thing is made out of solid oak wood and the surface area is about 2 inches thick. I am going to sand it down tomorrow and paint it. What color should I paint it?

Yeah, I made it home o.k. Got home around 230 in the morning and did not go to bed until like 5am. and then the wife woke me up at 10am for brunch.

Well, I went to the woods and I fought this bear hand to hand, no knives, no guns, just mano a mano. He was able to bite my right wrist and took a good portion of my hand with him. I followed him to his cave, grabbed a huge rock and hit the bear in the head with it. Once it was knocked unconsious I reached down his mouth and pulled my right hand from his tummy. And I got pics to prove it.
