French MAS 44 and 36

I've been trying to make a screwdriver to fit those funny screws on the MAS 36 -

Found these surplus ammo - They are supposed to be horrible - But I wanted them for my collection - They are Syrian -

I had hangfires with it using it in like 2001.  I'd like a box for collection purposes of course though as well.

Finally had time to make the screwdriver - The 36 has a 1952 barrel on her - Haven't a chance to look at the 44 yet - Will do that later - Also found some period ammo this past weekend at the show -

I had one of those MAS-36 rifles..  POS!
It had a butchered stock someone had tried to skeletonize..
Ugh..  7.5 French...
