The only sport figures I've gotten up close to was Ken Griffy Jr. & John Madden.

I ordered a sandwich at the italian deli and Wilt Chamberlain was standing right next to me waiting for his sandwich.
He died within a few weeks of that.
I don't think it was the sandwich because mine was fine.

I don't like sports but Wilt is my hero.  15000 women IIRC.

Local 44 set dressers.

which were brown! ;)

Guess again.
You gotta be a good ol'boy or connected to get into the propmakers union.

Whites only, wow.  My grandma went to segregated school, in CA, and she was not black.  Other grandma went to white school, I suppose she looked white enough.

Neat story, unique concept, check it out.  Ran in to it whilst looking for info on Israeli Mausers and Krags.  Many of my guns would have interesting stories also.  Someone should write up a story like this about Frijolito and his...toys :o LOL

http://www.surplusrifle.com/articles2008/adayinthelife/index.asp

Spiggy from .net would love this.

I didn't like part of story where son sold rifle to a gun dealer, too much of that goes on. I'd never sell a fathers war bringback rifle.
Weird too as I was examining a Arisaka today and explaing it's features to a mildly interested calgunner.

WAS HERE!

If I saw a dude painting that on the wall and nobody else was around to see me, I might just run that dude over with my car.

Good morning. Went to work early and all the power was out. There was a very large dead swan on the front grass. It ran into the power lines and broke all 3. They said it was going to take 4-hours to fix it. The control tower, right next to us is running on it's generator. So they said to go home and come back later.

No pics Jacques -

There was a lady there with a camera, taking all kinds of pics. She looked like one of those really irritating environmentalists or a news paper person. She started taking all kinds of pics of the dead swan, then started taking pics of our work building and the control tower.

I can see the front page of the Santa Barbara News Press tomorrow. "AirTraffic control Killing Swans"

We work at a place in some pretty shabby buildings next to the airport here. They used to be barracks in WWII. The P38 pilots trained here. I am an engineer, it is small place, never worked anywhere this small before. We do Undersea Scientific exploration equipment. This is the program I work on.

http://www.neptunecanada.ca/

We are building all the equipment for the main string for this.

Hey Marcelo when do you want to go to TJ?  I know you are dying to put on your chunty clothes and get in touch with your people!  And I want to get in touch with some al pastor tacos and pirujas!

What is a piruja?

I sometimes wear a serape as you all know, must be in my blood.  I also own and use a shillelagh as a cane sometimes, must be because I am like 3% or so Irish :D  Also why I am an alcoholic I bet too.

A piruja is a "lady for rent", so to speak.  You are welcome at my bday party, and it wont be a sausage fest.  I'm trying to make it the weekend all my friends can make it, but January is a busy month for all of us.
LOL

yes it is, in .338L.

I hope to get one all paid for and mount a Leupold w/BORS, My goal is to have it all done in 4-5mo

Leupold is no good for serious long range shooting.
The tracking is not consistent enough.
And BORS is a joke.
Don't bother.
Spend the money on a real scope and learn to turn knobs yourself.
