Sure took the MSM's focus off of Syria and the refugee "crisis".

Oh wait, they weren't really talking about Syria or refugees.

I get the feeling this guy is going to be the poster boy for legal gun owners turned bad.

White, middle aged, ar15, standard cap mags, mail order ammo, private party purchase, gun board member,  prepper.

Where did you hear that? Linky?

If he was, the media would be going into their usual "nothin' to see here" mode in the next day or two.

Naw they would have still covered it for a week and we will forget about it. No one will remember this though.

Last night CNN kept referring to "the growing list of attacks on abortion providers".   Turns out there have been only about 20 such attacks in the last 30+ years. CNN made it seem that these types of attacks are a common occurrence.

I think CNN counts picketing in front of one as an "attack". Unlike BLM thugs who are just using their rights to "influence" shoppers and the police.

A lot of the attacks are vandalism and property crimes.

Asshole. The main site being taken down is the best thing to happen for gun owners in a long time.

Are you sure they werent talking about attacks by abortion providers?  I think there have been 50,000,000 attacks by abortion providers in the last 30 years.

I wonder how many children were saved during the standoff, seeing as they shutdown for 5 hours.

Fruitcake has a long record of BEING a minor league fruitcake.  He just stepped up to the BIGS, now.   ::)

Quote
Robert Lewis Dear, the suspected gunman, is from Hartsel, Colorado. According to KDVR-TV, he was previously a resident of North Carolina and is originally from South Carolina.

Dear’s age has been reported to as both 57 and 59, but public records indicate that he is 57. His family is from South Carolina, according to public records and his father’s obituary.

According to court records, Dear has an arrest record in both North and South Carolina. He has been convicted of several traffic offenses, but has been arrested several times on more serious charges.

His convictions include seat belt violations, driver’s license violations, operating a vehicle in an unsafe mechanical condition and driving a non-registered vehicle.

Dear was charged in Colleton, South Carolina, with two counts of cruelty to animals in 2002, but was found not guilty in a bench trial.

He was also charged in 2002 in Colleton with charges of “peeping Tom” and eavesdropping. Those charges were dismissed.

/\ I agree.  No doubt all agencies would like to be encrypted, it's likely just a matter of having the money to do so.

How long until we hear that all gun owners need to take responsibility for the actions of a deranged shooter?
