I hate to tell you this, but Geissele is giving away a lightning bow with a purchase of the trigger. https://geissele.com/blackfriday?sslid=Mza1NLEwNDS2NDIEAA&sseid=MzGxMDI3MzUEAA&jobid=9da91447-3ccb-4b1b-8715-46024fe89cc9

Maybe you can cancel your order?

Handguns / Took my Custom II appart. What the Swartz!
« on: November 26, 2015, 12:40:38 PM »
Detail stripped my Kimber Custom II today to try to get rid of some pretravel. I got rid of a little. Not quite as much as I hoped. Trigger is good, although seems lighter than when I started.

The biggest problem I had was reassmbly and getting the Swartz pin to function. It was sticking up, and would not completely move down. I am not quite sure what I did wrong, but I think I had the pretravel tabs overly adjusted before I bent them back a bit. Could that affect the Swartz lever? Doesn't seem so, but I can't think of anything else I did different after the last tear down and assemble.

As per it feeling lighter now, is this something to be worried about? I don't have a trigger pull scale, but it does feel lighter by a bit. Could just be my perception.

Learned a lot at least, and it will be easier to deal with next time.

TIA

Sig Sauer .22 conversion kits 30% off, and .22 mags 50% off. http://store.sigsauer.com/sale/conversion-kits-sale.html

WOW $13 for a GSG/Sig 1911 mag!!!

If you own a GSG or a Sig 1911-22, this is a DEAL. (not sure about shipping though...)

Should work with any 1911 22 conversion also. Yeah, that is a great deal.

I spent 4 hours burying my cat
It's easier if you can get it into a burlap sack...keeps the struggling and the clawing down.

Slightly OT, but I found out recently the source of the phrase "The cat is out of the bag". It turns out, at one time in the UK, it was common for unscrupulous butchers who were selling live suckling pigs to swap a stray cat into the bag in place of the pig.  Purchaser would get home and "let the cat out of the bag", and the rouse would be up. lol

Technically, Karma is not religious, it is cultural. Budists, hindus and others use the term.

What a happy holiday post!

Let's ship those two special snowflakes to the middle east.

Why so they can learn better Sodomy and beastiality techniques?
