would i be able to roll it over? my previous company gave pensions for x number of years before switching to 401k only contributions. i didn't roll it over when i moved to another company which was bought by current company as an acquisition. should i be let go, can pull a ira rollover on the pension even if it's nothing to do with current company? pension is not really growing other than at most - interest rates are somewhat based on inflation.
just avoiding withdrawing it to move it and deal with tax penalties.
