Yes - But no lower.

Anyone see the group buy for ar Lower parts kits
They were 45 bucks IIRC
I have a couple of un built lowers and an A2 stock
I was thinking about throwing on a decent brake to my upper and buying a mmg so that I could swap the upper to the different lowers depending on what I was doing.

Let me see if this is an actual 'outage' or DB server work.

Do you have any idea how long the outage for DB work is going to be tonight?
Trying to decide if I should go read a book for a while until I fall asleep, or wait around here in the TAN until .net starts working and I can answer some PM's there...

Randall called us a "unit" LOL

Here

.50 BMG :)

How many MOA to 2K from a 100yd zero?

I think it was around 35 or so to get to 1000. I wasn't beating up on the 2k target. That's FAR!

Cold or Hot?

How did you do?

Perfect weather.
Great location.
Horrible match director.
There's a few threads about it on .net in the CAPRC forum.
Go read them when .net comes back up.

My team (me and novadesigns) came in 3rd, even after we were disqualified from 1 out of 3 stages and could not see one of the targets to shoot at it on another stage.
I didn't really enjoy taking showers with other men though I have done it

Yeah I really like the look and feel of the pg and the collapsable stock but would like to drop mags and maybe just maybe go to the chabot tactical rifles that M.Sage is always talking up

I am going to put a brake on mine as well. But you don't necesarily need a MMG, you can have both styles going and just change the upper.

I know what it takes to get to 1K, I wanted to know what it took you to get to 2K.
2K with a 50 is not as common.
Also, what bullet and what velocity.

Did they not like you guys or something? Maybe they should have told you guys you just have to shoot in the opposite direction of the target and if the bullet can not make a low earth orbit in a trajectory to go completely around the world and end up back at the target you are disqualified.

Not me, I have stayed away. I was bootyhurt about the Marcelo thing.
Well we can't have that can we?
I would have responded earlier but i just got back from dinner.
Musashi's, Japanese food. Teppanyaki and Sukiyaki :Yummy!:

And the rule are not posted here, we are going off .net rules on an honor system.
This, from the front page, covers the rules carrying over:
"CALGUNS.ORG
A Division of
CALGUNS.NET"
This indicates the .org is a part of .net and not a stand-alone entity.

ahhh man!! dont tell me TAN will be closed in org also!
I believe he said that is not what he is going to do

in the quote in his post it says TAN wil never return to .net and will be closed on .org and .org will only be open when .net is down :(
Thats correct but just before the quote he explained that he wasnt going to do that

But either way, what for? what did TaN as a whole do?........Nothing wrong.
I believe he understands that

Yes, but it crossed his mind to punish all of us. And not only on this occasion.

I think he is getting sick of dealing with it

But what is "it" thats being dealt with. I just don't get it.

'It' is the additional headaches and hassles that the 'TaN' entity has brought on. Everything that got Marcelo banned for the last few times has come about directly because of the TaN. This can be said of SEVERAL members involved in the TaN.

'It' is the division created by the TaN, your own words show this:
We keep each other in line pretty well, we are a community too and we all have a common understanding of the rules, occasionally there is a slip. We are at 101 pages here of good clean fun.
Further evidence is that a small group would rather have an empty forum to themselves then to be part of the larger community.
That's fine in general but when it becomes a point of differentiation it becomes a problem.

'It' is the sense that because it's in the TaN it isn't subject to the rules or is somehow sacrosanct. It doesn't work that way.

'It' is the fact that the borderline jokes don't always stay in the TaN's and become problems.

Marcelo isn't something everyone would be punished for, Marcelo is a symptom.
I posted the part of my email to be open and up front about where I was at, trying to balance my concerns above with my desire to make sure CGN can give everyone a voice and a place.
"The problem with ‘post-modern’ society is there are too many people with nothing meaningful to do, building ‘careers’ around controlling the lives of others and generally making social nuisances of themselves. They justify their meddling by discovering social ‘problems’ and getting the media to mag
