Just saw one of these VZ52's on the AK Forum. I think I want one. Would this qualify as one of Saigons Viet Era rifles?
I had a decent good shape one w/o that crappy black finish sprayed on by the importer. Got it for around $137, sold it for $250-20%.
Nicely made guns but I doubt any were in Vietnam but their was some recovered in Grenada after the US invasionn and some were used in Nicaragua.
7.62x45 ammo is hard to come by and the surplus ammo is very corrosive. I'd like one that was made as a 7.62x39,the CZ52/57
Czechoslovakia always did have an independant streak even when in the Warsaw pact, CZ52 pistol as well,CZ82,VZ58,ect.
