Props for a fine Sunday afternoon - Pat yourself in the back - Rivets looks good - How does she cycled? You're getting much more efficient, 4 hours -

Still a few things left to do.  Waiting on Raddlock, G2, and that pesky safety stop.  Could have it done with only about 4 hours of work today.

Keyhole problems - Need to read a little about that - Thanks for the info gents. - I'll sell something to get one.

Due to ATF banning the importation of barrels--they are manufactured in the US.  The Century Tantals have a problem with some (most/all?) being oversize.  They are also not chrome lined.  Some have had to be returned for repair (rebarrel?) or replacement.  The earliest ones are the ones usually referred to.  I don't have any 70 grain to try, and the accuracy is AK normal--not very good--with the Bulgarian surplus.  The rifle works well and is fun to shoot though.  It seems I prefer the 5.45 to the 7.62; I've got 2 of the 5.45 but sold each of the 7.62x39 I had.

That's going to make her happy -

I'll test fire it first, then order the duracoat.  I've got the duracoat kit to do basic flat black, so I'll practice on the three other builds first, then bust out the pink/white...

Hopefully it'll be done by Christmas.

No Randall,no traps, damn, I really want to make this but Fri and definately sat are booked up.

I was a bit worried for a while.  It wouldn't cycle for anything.  It wouldn't feed...  Worked on the rails, the ejector, ended up being the mag stabilizers.  They stabilized the mag crookedly.

If you can find one built on a kit-that's best.  CAI seems to always be known as the lowest quality vendor out there.  The Tantal was under $500--so I picked it up.  Mine works and looks good.  It's a shame you can't just look at it before you buy it; that's what I do when I'm in AZ.

Now you see why these are produced around the world in underground shops to wage war - Most with probably less tools than you've used.

You should lined up all yours and snap a few pics -

+k everyone.

Once we get the AK's painted, I'll take a few pics...  But creating something that works and moves and functions is very rewarding.

I really used to be into RC, especially planes.  But I never flew them, I was afraid of crashing them.  At least the guns I get to shoot.
