I'm trying to figure out how to sign up for my 401k.  I did my health benefits, but can't find the 401k part.  I also found out today that my work has a pension plan, and I'm 100% vested.  I didn't realize that...  Kind of makes me feel important.

Because dental plans are very expensive - They have cut off for max amount spent each year - How about eye?

Just want you and the future family set-up  -

I didn't either when I was your age.  Didn't have any sort of coverage from 18-30...  Then I got it, and within a year got hurt.  They paid almost $850k.  And I had only paid about $1000 in premiums...

Good luck!  Every american needs a Garand.  When we muster up our militias, thats what we are supposed to bring.

yeah, I opted for it all.  Medical was 90/mo, dental was 10/mo, and vision was like 6/mo.  I rarely get sick enough to go to the doctor, and when I do go to the doc, it doesn't do any good.

Hey, funny everyone is talking Garand.
So, hmmm...I stick to standard calibers in hopes of being able to scroung up more ammo after SHTF.
But with all the 223, 308 etc in short(er) supply these days, maybe 30-06 is a good item again.
30-30 wil be found everywhere for years (I have a Win94AE), 30-06 should be too.
Hmmm...Garand...
Yes, why did I never get one?

Every gun I own is a military caliber save one.  I've got a Winchester 94 in 30-30.  I also have a Mosin, but I have close to 400 rounds for it, and that certainly isn't my go to gun.

That 94 sure is a fun gun.  Super light, and even with the iron sights, she's more accurate than I am.  I had a 7 inch circular saw blade hanging up at just over 100 yards.  The only times I missed, I felt myself flinch or jerk...
