Clouds also - No rain predicted -

You people in SoCal--is it raining there?  If it's raining there, I may see some tomorrow or Sunday.  Right now there's only clouds.  Clouds mean nothing here.

Not raining in LB, but some small puddles on the ground, drizzled last night a bit.

My Ex's parents live out in Henderson, in that retirement community, I think it is called Anthem. I have been there many times. Seen it pour rain, snow, and one time when I was driving on the freeway I got hit by a big dirt devil and it felt like it was going to flipped the car.  But usually, you see the rain coming down, but it never gets to the ground.

I saw them a month or so ago, and they were telling me to come visit and stay there. I prefered staying there as opposed to the strip, because you  can go to the more obscure casinos like Grass Valley, and the other ones out there.

Is Colton Piano and Organ still there? They used to have so many commercials.

What up?

I think so.

I have finally heard some life out of the seller for that VZ58 folding stock kit. So maybe next week I will have that kit in my hands.

I hope you are not paying $175 for that.

Guna - You like that Finn M39 - Tell me about it -

Any Finn M39 is a sweet shooter. The Finn's had a QC standard, if the M39 would not shot a 3 hole group of 1.3 inches at 100 yards the rifle was rejected. If you can find one for under $300 it is a good buy.
:) Thank you Sir, may I have another ;)

Thanks all.  If it's not pouring rain there we'll probably get nothing here.  So, I feel free to get on with my 3 day weekend.  Word of Warning:  it's Nevada Day and all the schools have bus loads of kids headed to Knott's, Disneyland, Magic Mountain, etc.  Plan accordingly.

That is a good price. I made sort of a build tutorial for those last night. That is why I was not here. I will post it tonight, here on .ORG.  I have mostly all the pieces I need to build another. I might have to buy a couple little things. Plus compliance parts and another receiver. I bought 3-kits to build 2 but the kits were $69 at centerfire when I bought them. They don't have anymore.

What the heck is Nevada day?

Statehood Day--the day Nevada (probably illegally) became a star on the flag.

WASR 22--I've looked at them at J&G and didn't buy one.  The magazines were a problem for me; no good hi-caps and replacements seem hard to find.  Fit and finishwise, they looked pretty much like any WASR (I've hand picked the ones I've bought--not sure if that's even an option for you)  If you were there, could you buy one and have it shipped to your FFL-or is there some other intervening step that would prevent that?

Yeah, I checked out that Krink. Is that a joke or what. Should respond, I'll take it for $200.  ;D

The milled rec. Krinks are indestructable. I wonder if it is ammo picky though. I have a feeling that it might be with the shorten gas tube and all.
