She sounds like Moonclips kind of woman...  Where were they drinking at?

I don't think she even knew where they were.  And yeah, the lost friend is a cutie and a half.  Its a good thing she didn't end up over here that drunk with no GF around.  I'll send you a pic in a sec...

Ross, do you do bee infestations?  And if so can you keep the honey?  Hook a brotha up, I love honey.

I can do them in a way to save the honey, but I don't.  As a matter of fact, part of the bee job is forcing a dessicant dust into the hive that destroys the honey.  It keeps bees from another hive from coming back to rob the honey.

And, because the bee hives I do are usually posing a safety hazard, I try to get as complete and fast of a kill as possible.  My customers don't want mad bees buzzing around all day.

Do just one the honey saving way and hook a brotha up, I LOVE honey.  Best I have had was some wild stuff from Mexico.

Oh - Everybody needs a Sig - I have 2/226 and love them to death - Pricey guns though - There's always a few in the porn section -
Yeah I've been looking at getting something in 9mm since .45 is getting very expensive.
Tried an XD and a P226 today. XD was ok, had a bunch of fte problems so it wasn't as fun as I would've liked (I know it was that particular gun, esp since it was a rental, but still couldn't get a good feel for it when I had to rack the slide after every shot to clear the brass out of the chamber!!)
And then I shot the 226, <3!
If I ever decide to go to your range(can a membership holder get a non member a discount?) I'll let you try some 9mms, I have about 20 of them.

I'll keep it in mind, probably won't do any bees until next Spring though.  I've got bedbugs if you want those.  Got a job tomorrow morning..

Thompson Center - Pretty cool, I had a frame and a bunch of different barrels.

This is weird

http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?p=1654317#post1654317

I have had my TC for over 2 years and all I have is the 14" .223 barrel!  I barely tried to take it off just last week, there is no real reasons too, got it for $250.  Beautiful bluing, muzzle blast is bad.  Randall likes these guns, Ojisan has a .223 barrel with a 10 in length!

I REALLY want a .22lr barrel.

That sounds like it probably was a Beretta then.
I do like renting guns and being able to try before I buy.
I've also looked at (but not tried) a Baby Eagle. Haven't researched it much yet, any opinions anyone?
I have one in .40, I like Israeli weapons, bought it after 9/11 too!

All steel frame, double action pull a bit heavy, patterned after the CZ75 but it has a different safety.

Polygonal rifling like a Glock, a no no for lead bullets.  Mine is fairly accurate.  Somewhat reasonably priced.  Magnum reasearch the importer says no +P ammo on their website but I think they are being conservative.  I want the 9x19 as well I think.  Don't like the .45acp versions, barrel too short.

dont know much, just that the baby eagles are pretty cheap i think , a buddy of mine was selling his 9mm for $400 i think or around that price

Mine was like $419 NIB in 2002.  The company seems to be called IWI now instead of IMI.

Hey has anyone painted their sights? What did you use? What colour? I'm thinking about painting my 1911s sights, because it's so hard to aim when pointing at a black target...

I have used gold or red fingernail polish or some Sharpie type metallic pens.

I have a sharpie story that is mildly interesting I can not post on a family forum :)

Are glow dots like night sights?
Some are, but some guns have a sort of glow in the dark paint that if exposed to light, they will dlow for some time after.

Hi Viz sight are, high visibilty but they seem fragile, I tend to be a bit rough on stuff at times.

Not much - I wanted to check out a gun shop or 2 - Need to do some Googleing tomorrow to see what's around and head over to Oji - then back to the GF's family party -

I know BSP is here in Riverside, but not much else - Maybe I'll call Oji and go hang out in his work shop -

I wonder how far he is from me - am thinking over an hour easily -

so what are your plans for tomorow saigon other than the bbq

There is a lot of gunshops depending on how far you will travel, Corona and San Bernardino Turners, Gunslingers in Glendora, Chino Hills Turners, Bass Pro Shops,JW Arms in Riverside amd others , also Centerfire Firearms on Central in Riverside.

that is what i have noticed , out of state dealers give us great prices, BUT calguners just whine about shipping and its taking too long! like damn shut up guys you know they are giving us great prices and it wll take a while to ship , I just feel that they will push them away

True but CA is a huge gun markey and dealers that don't tap us are losing a lot of $.  And ones that suppost us we need to be cool with too with anti Ca snetiments and that dumb DOJ CFLC thing or whatever some wont do.

No one is left to play with me :(  And in case anyone was wondering of gives a F, my dad is fine.  He has a lot of health problems related to Agent Orange exposure and diabetes.  His eye was really red and bloody, burst blood vessles.

As diabetes can mess up your eyes, make you go blind, we had it checked out.  Appears mainly overexertion and stress.  Sat at hospital for a few hours, as it was VA emergency room not so bad, no illegals and their anchor babies.

Random Moonclip thought before I try to go to bed.

I'm suppose to maybe meet Senor Flake(Frijoilito) to look at some rifles before we go to the BBQ.

I wonder if that will be a lie...or a trap?

I need to stop drinking too much sometimes, I get hot and my face is turning too red.

I ate a breakfast burrito for dinner, it was good, but w/o potatoes it tasted weird.  Rice in a burrito is FTL.

Why do I own 5 firearms capable of chambering the .44mag cartridge?

I am thinking of bringing some guns for show and tell at the bBQ tomorrow, what should I bring?  Probably mostly handguns but whcih kinds?  And some interesting sawn down shotguns I have and Lil bean wants to see lever actions.  I have 4 of them, I should get another .22lr lever action though.  Henry Golden Boys look nice.

I am interested in meeting Saigon, I have not meet too many norteno members of calguns.

I have a calgunner friend that used to do rifle competitions a lot.  He said one time like out of 300 shooters there was one black guy.  As my friend has "jungle fever" and he felt the guy was feeling out of place he struck up a conversation to be cool.  Not only was the guy a minority as mentioned, he was also gay!

Colt was VERY retarded to let the Gold Cup and the .38 supers fall off the approved list.

I think I will bring some carne asada to Ojisans BBQ.  I am curious to see if he can whip us up a decent burger as well ;D  I should bring my own weiners as I only eat kosher ones.

Randall has not been posting much, I guess he is been busy camping/pitching tents.  Anyone know what a "teepee" is? lol

I have yet to be stung by a wasp or bee yet, I hope I am not allergic.  Bees infested a family friends home before.  They wore a bunch of clothes to avoid being stung and removed and killed them themselves, they got a few stings but also recovered like 5 pounds of honey( I didn't get any >:()

I have Sears branded guns, my dad had a shotgun from Montgomery Wards.  I always though Sears guns were kind of neat.  My friend works for them.

Cruising for hookers in Hollywood is dangerous and stupid on many levels, I know a guy that does/did it though, he told me some very interesting stories about it.

Eating chile is good and fun sometimes, but it sure hurts going out :(How the heck can I eat it and like 3-4 hours later I feel the effects?

Anyways time for me to go, everyone stay safe and be careful out there, see you all soon hopefully, I will try to get online again at least after I get back from the BBQ.

[At a dog parade I went to there was a chihuahua dressed in full fatigues, complete with hat, glasses, boots, and bandoleer. I just about died!!

Belmont Shore or Seal Beach?  The Catholic church at Olvera street and some other churches sometimes have days where they will bless your dog or other pet!

We've got a list of stuff to try to get done, but I can't do anything until my wife wakes up--so I'm gracing y'all with my presence.

In other news--not a single trick-or-treater last night; that's a first.  Also, you people nearer the coast were talking about rain yesterday and we had clouds.  That should mean a possibility of rain here today, but the sky is blue this morning.  So, Vegas lives up to its 'never rains' reputation.

How're things on your side of the line?

Cruising for hookers in Hollywood is dangerous and stupid on many levels, I know a guy that does/did it though, he told me some very interesting stories about it.

You have to ask them if they'd like to do any modeling, maybe take some pictures.  Undercover cops need to hear "sex act for money" for it to be soliciting a prostitute.  Hookers don't care what it is they want the money.

Just my tip of the day.

oh and hai everybody else.  Good Morning.
