You will not be able to find war time 1911 for anywhere under 1300 -

I have found them for under that but usually well worn.

Did it rain on your parade?

Both mornings I awoke to rain on the tent.
Saturday, we got rained on pretty good at the 22 sniper match, but I still managed to win.

Did you make a teepee in your tent you pitched?

Saigon, Frijolito, Moon Clip, apBrian 112, SpawnX, Cold Steel, Glock30, I'm missing someone...duuuhh....

Saigon:MC has to sell you that P38 with your birthday on it!

MC: Let me look at that Colt New Service with timing issues. I'm curious, maybe fun to fix. (Get a replacement hand first, I can fit it).
Great show and tell with the 9mms!
No, my wife was not bugged with all of those guns on the floor! LOL

Glock30: are you going to ASR today...but not on line here...

Will post pics soon.

Parts will be hard to find, and old Colt revolvers are VERY hard to fix corrctly, I will probably get rid of it soon.

Can't really sell the P1, my dad gave it to me, but I won't ever sell it w/o giving Saigon a chance 1st.

I did not go to Angeles because I slept for like 11 hours and I think Glock30 and the others did not go either.  Maybe I will go soon or even just meet Ojisan during the week one day if he wants to.

Put the pics already!!!

5 years from issue it expires.  IIRC yes 10 days for 18-20 with HSC is correct but I'd ask DOJ to be sure,my phone calls to them have been pleasant and w/o issue but not as valid as a written opinion.

oh i dont have that, only wire and stick welder

I have all 4 welding processes covered now.
Stick
Mig
Tig
Oxy-Acetylene

What do you weld with oxy/acetylene?  One of my bone headed friends welded patch panels into the vents on his trucks cowl.  Neat idea, except it warped it pretty bad.  One corner lifted 6 inches or better.  BTW, we called him Bondo John.  Nobody would drive behind him when we left autoshop class.  The cloud of Bondo dust as it blew off his truck was blinding...

Sarah Silverman is firing a 1911 at a fish tank on TV right now, she is kinda of hot in a weird way, I like Jewish women.

I was watching MASH the other day, a 1911 they were firing had a external extractor, was probably a Spanish clone and the general public can't tell the difference or care.  IIRC many 1911 patterns shown on movies are 9mm or .38super as they are easier to get to cycle with blanks.

Lil Bean I liked your involvement with the edge thread on .net OT!

Does anybody else notice that tech & El Uno usually come on at the sametime?

It's because they just finished doing what too lonely guys do when they live together in the bay area...

I have seen people sink $1000 in to a 10/22 or a Anchutz .  Now that I think about it, I don't think I have ever spent more than $200 on a .22lr rifle either.

I have $800 in my 10-22 including the scope, mount, barrel, stock, action and internal triggerjob parts.

Adam at freakshow is gonna start doing a group buy or gonna start offering AK pistols. hes looking for a way to make them single shot, wich will just be a single shot ak magazines and just a mag lock , which is awsome he says he is gonna try and get them for under $400 , I think with that some red krinkov furniture and krinkov muzzle break il be set !

Actually I have, I forgot.  10/22 ss like $170ish in 1997,sold it, bought it back for $100.  Simmons scope $50 in 2001. Clerke 16" ss bull barrel, $100 in 2001.  Hogue stock like $50.  No internal work yet.  I have bought .22lr rifles for like $45 in this decade.  I had a friend that has got them for $10 at yard sales in the old days.
