I just came up on a nice Leupold to replace the Nikon on my Savage. Mostly because the eye relief is better. Once deer season is over, I'm hoping to rework the rifle... Swap out scopes, have Randall do the cheek piece... I don't know if I should get a better stock first, though. Its got the el cheapo flimsy (yet nicely lightweight) gray plastic one. Randall???I have a nikko or nikon sterlin, Im kinda double thinking about the whole cheeck riser thing, maybe il just buy oneof those "slip on" cheeck rizers with teh pad and the built in ammo holder, where you can puch maybe 4 or 5 rounds on teh side of the butstock with that kevlar looking material
