wouldent that only apply to new shooters? I know im new but i dont flinch anymore! lol

more so, but I still get flinches.  Especially with my .308 Savage...

Yeah i think i will flinch for months with my howa, I am scared of it a bit now ever since it hit me in the face i dint feel like shooting itmuch afterwards and when i did my head was wayyyy back

It didn't hit me  ::) lol.  It appears me and Randall still have a lot to teach you.

Like i said mistake on my part, i have never looked through a some what "real" scope , and dint know it had some sort of tunnel vision where you head had to be in a particular angle , and dint know how light the tirgger pul was in reality

It is the Nikko scope that comes with it.  Randall was looking forward to filling in and screwing your cheek for $40, he needs the $.

double star

heres the break down he gave me

lower = $99
lpk =$49
BB=$24
buffer tube assembly = $39
installation of complete lower = $20

shipping 10-15$

You can't slap on a regular upper with a complete gas system as it will not be a single shot...
Also, the sled is missing from the prices above.

What is the sled?

Randall, do you buy your shotgun ammo online?

What scope is on it?  I just came up on a nice Leupold to replace the Nikon on my Savage.  Mostly because the eye relief is better.  Once deer season is over, I'm hoping to rework the rifle...  Swap out scopes, have Randall do the cheek piece...  I don't know if I should get a better stock first, though.  Its got the el cheapo flimsy (yet nicely lightweight) gray plastic one.  Randall???

I have a nikko or nikon sterlin, Im kinda double thinking about the whole cheeck riser thing, maybe il just buy oneof those "slip on" cheeck rizers with teh pad and the built in ammo holder, where you can puch maybe 4 or 5 rounds on teh side of the butstock with that kevlar looking material

there's a big difference between a Nikko and a Nikon

It happens.  My dad did the same thing with my Savage.  He takes blood pressure meds, they thin his blood, and when it cut him, he bled all over the place.  If he said he had been shot, I would have believed him...

Nikko Stering is not "fake",just the brand that sometimes comes with Howa rifles.  Nikko did/does make rifles I believe.

FYI, Howa made AR18 rifles at one time IIRC.  There is also post WWII .38spl Japanese revolvers by Miroku.  I have a S&W 3000 riot shotgun made in Japan.  There is a rare m1carbine variation that was made in post war Japan as well.

I am feeling a bit tired and should go do something productive so I may sign off soon, maybe not.

Someone has Lil Beans avatar from .net on gunboards.com, that threw me off for a sec.

Randall can make smores.  (and teepees,lol)  I wonder if his campsite got rained out?

Most of the rain was while we were still in the tents.
It did rain on me at the 22 sniper match though.

I don't really celebrate Halloween, Marcelos Halloween avatar was FTW.  I don't really do Thanksgving either, don't have much of a family.  I probably will be shooting at Angeles that day, it appears they are open, who wants to join me?

Well saigon tell me something about that its a 1911 GI springfield, its pretty cheap , so maybe a good chance its an old (Im stupid) 1911? maybe used in a war ?

Silly boy...
Springfield Armory never made 1911's for the govt.
The "springfiend armory" brand name is NOT the same springfield armory that made rifles for the military.
It's just a confusing name that plays on the history of the old ordinance depot at springfield...
