Those rest homes are money maker too -

so, Saigon, Tatted, you're both right.

I was talking to a few people who work in similar fields.  I told you guys I have a loan on the books to purchase a house...  Well, I've been looking into owning/operating a group home.  The state is paying about $7500 a month for these kids.  I know two people who have worked/managed group homes.  Think 4-6 weird/crazy/retarded kids.  They beat the crap out of the houses, but as long as I don't have to deal with the kids, I'd be okay.  I wish the the girl who is working at a group home now was a bit more financially stable, it might make for a better business partnership.

They are money makers, but just imagine the licensing and all the codes and stuff you have to go thru. I dont think I could ever do that.

I was looking at it strictly as additional income.  I don't have the time and energy or personality to deal with the kids...  I was hoping to avoid that by having my friend run it and deal with the kids.  There is a lot about that kind of stuff I'm not familiar with.  I get a taste of it when I do work at the group homes.

I went to Colton/LA over the weekend - Sure you've read our posts - Had a great time at the BBQ - Oji almost burnt his house down - LOL

It's raining right now here in Hayward/Bay Area - Am sick though - GF too -

How was your long weekend? Did the rain make it there?

Evening all; just wanted to drop by and see what's up.

Oh, and a +k for y'all...

No rain, but some wind.  It was actually nice for the first weekend in November.  We had a pretty good weekend; got a lot of stuff done and kept the whole weekend low key and relaxing.  I hope your weekend was stress-free and relaxing as well.

Have to buy an existing one - Bypass the codes ect. - Everything will be grandfathered in -

Nice. ;D Pretty soon you will have a cache.

Uncle Pauls has a 10/22 for $199 I am going to buy. I don't mind paying a little extra because he does all my transfers and stuff. Plus I want him to stay in business.  I am goin to put these on it, http://www.tech-sights.com/ and use it for the next Appleseed. After that, I will convert it to Ojis kit.

I like those AK sights.  I've been wanting to get some night sights for the tactical one.

You are right - Around my part there are so many it really does not matter - Those sights look pretty cool, probably works great too - I saw Oji's kit for the first time this weekend - Very neat - 200 for a brand new is a good price - Someone was selling a used one on .net for 220 -

Missed that - What are you looking at?

I picked up a Finn M39 today - I'll get some pics up soon -

Hi all. What's up.

So I am looking at the Benelli Accesories Randal suggested. Interesting.

Nice. ;D Pretty soon you will have a cache.

It was originally for today - But the case under trial ran over - I am on call - Can you believe that - So tomorrow, I'll get a call after 11:00 AM then have 2 hours to be in court to start trial -

That's why you always want to buy an existing restaurant/bar or whatever - they still exist off old codes -

To open a new restaurant here in Pleasanton - You're talking about 100k just for sewer and grease trap stuff -

Linnens and things, and CompUSA shut down here.

That sucks Saigon. waiting for court is like waiting for the plumber (I'll be there somewher between 12 and 5). Good luck with that.

The store directly behing me in Dublin is one of the casualty - The company is doing poorly - They don't have credit to buy inventory - Have to closed down to restructure and get enough money for new inventory - I don't think they will survive - It's so hard for them due to the nature of tech supplies - It's like guns and ammo - We research and buy from the cheapest source -

Thanks for the kind words - I'll keep you posted -

well, best of luck to you...

LOL - Nice comparison.

An economist had said that by 2010 - between 10-15K businesses will be closed -

well, best of luck to you...

Vegas - You quoted but didn't say anything above -

I typed, then it choked when I tried to repost--I guess it lost my message.  I'll try to reproduce it:

Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well; hope you're all better soon.  Glad you enjoyed the BBQ and sorry I couldn't make it, but the wife wanted to stay closer to home.

Apologize for any confusion.  Also, the court thing has to be frustrating--hope they quit dicking you around and get on with it.
