No - They stick it to the military in terms of parts ect. -

they were designed to be cheap and easy to produce.

Supposedly just a bit over $10 each when production was in full swing.  In 1941 gas was 19 cents per gallon.  So, a Sten gun was about the same cost  as 50 gallons of gas.  Unleaded her today is about $2.50 so, yes I'd buy a new Sten 9mm carbine for $125!

Too bad oppressive law makes that impossible.

wow that is cheap, nowadays do you think companies give US discounts when buying full autos m16s for the military ?

That is another thing i was thining about , maybe a "buddy" owns the company and the US buys full price on purpose to give alot of money to the friend that owns the company
That's illegal.

But it happens all the time. Can you imagine how many of Bush's buddies are rolling in the doe right now? Like pigs feeding at the trough.

Wel the prices arent extremely bad,

I have always like the looks of the rilfes/guns that have the vented front barrel. Example like the tec 9s and some sten kyts have like a tube with holes around it, idk why ive always like those, what other maybe carbine has has that other than the phss 40 or what ever its called

Here's one good note for the day, finally that seller selling the VZ58 folding stock kit for $110, called me up today. I have sent him payment so maybe sometime next week I will have that kit in my hands.

Hey all, been gone all weekend. But it's good to be back. K for everyone! Bout to head out to Taco Surf. Yay beer and food!

Do you have a driver??

I got a DUI like 2 and half years ago...  I won't even mess around with that only one beer and then drive...  I actually find it easier to just volunteer to be DD, then I don't have to worry about overdoing it and dealing with a hangover.
I walked, but Macelo was gracious enough to drive me home :)
I won't risk drinking and driving, had too many friends die from that.

your third picture of the bolt there, the opening on the right side, I had my bolt out Friday night and I got the skin between my index finger and the finger next to it  pinched in that opening so tight I could not get the bolt off my hand. It hurt like hell. I went inside the house and had to have my son get it off my hand.

That has the hex receiver? Nice. Do you have one already, or is that the first?
