also maybe you guys can help, Im looking for a authentic sling for my CETME have you guys seen them around ?

also I wanna get a sling for my AR, im thinking about a 1 point sling, pros and cons ?

You didn't pick up the kit over at .net? I saw your post on AKfiles too -

I'm trying to find Sten mkIII kits, I probably emailed/messaged/posted about 20 adds in the last two days.  I've only had one reply, and that was that it was already sold.

The guy who sold me my AK parts kits this week also has two sten kits and like 20 magazines.  He's out of state and may not know about shipping rebuild kits.  But, he hasn't answered me back yet.

nobody has replied.  I found kits on a website for $140 a pop, but there are a couple of threads listing them for $100.

They are confusing, and if you don't use it all the time, you forget how to. I bought one and put it away. I only have a standard GI 2-pt sling that I use. It is much simpler and just easy to use.

I think im gonna scoop me up another Noveske N6 and maybe a Stag in .223 this weekend. The stags went up a tad, but the Noveske 223 went from 140 at CWS to 250!!!!!!! WTF.  The Noveske N6's (308) still at the same 389 price.

3-point will do that wonderfully - Lets ask Randall what he uses for 3-gun -

No slings in 3gun.
You pickup the gun when you need it and ditch it when you are done.

Your FFL can do more than one on a DROS - Save some Pesos that way - CWS is always too high -

I was filling the truck up full of diesel today, then the guy on the next pump over look into my bed and noticed a bunch of hunting gear and asked if I was on my way hunting? I said yes, I am going quail hunting. He said oh where near the Cajon Pass, I said no another mountain spot. He said he used to go hunting up near the Pass and I said I did too but now there are to many homes and OHV riders up there to do so safely.
:) Thank you Sir, may I have another ;)

Single is basically to sling the rifle accross your arse -

A single point sling means it only attaches to the rifle at one point.
Most commonly, this is at the rear of the receiver on an AR.
A two point sling is most common and attaches to the stock and to the barrel or the front/side of the handguard system.
A three point attaches to the gun at 3 points, like was described above: a sling within a sling.

No kidding - Thought you have to lug all 3 with you -

Sometimes.
We usually drive trucks if it's more than a few hundred yards.
You wear the pistol all day.
No big deal to carry a rifle and a shotgun.
I have case that holds two long guns and can be worn like a backpack.

Some guys have wagons or modify old strollers or golf bag carts.
The really serious guys drive golf carts.
