Yes - The 44 is a short run, they didn't make too many then moved onto the 49/56 - That's next on my list - A friend of mine have an old, old bolt action - Can't remember the exact model - But it's a black powder -

I've posted more pics in the C&R section here - Check them out -

I'm curious how that works....  Can you only register 4/year, how do they know what was built and when??  And, I thought you don't even have to register the long guns...

I keep a bound book, so technically, they are still on the books.  Only one of them however did the seller have a record of sale.  I'm always curious as to how that works.  I like to buy from little old widows.  What if a rifle I buy was once stolen??

I understand, I have recently done Benelli $600+70, Glock ($600) , 10/22 ($200+70), and now I am bidding on an AK pistol ($700)

I am going to have to stop for awhile after this week.

Evening everyone.  I just read through the thread:
Saigon-I like the old French rifles; is ammunition readily available?  And, I had no idea you were into horticulture--good looking plants.

The GlockTalk link.  I can't believe a Volunteer carbine can bring over $600 dollars.  Twenty or so years ago they were only about $100, but they would eat anything.  I used to shoot up handloads that would choke my 1911s in mine.  Another one I probably should have kept.

What was the verdict on Oji's pricing?  I'm trying to put a budget together for next month...  I don't remember if he was able to set a price yet.

I pick up the new .22 on Sunday, maybe Monday.  If Oji was thinking ahead, he would have bought some stock in Ruger...
