Just going over some things with work - I am trying to see how much merchandise to bring in for xmas, am really late already, but want to order the right amount, so am waiting to see the pulse of the consumers and their spending.
With additional lay offs it's nerve racking -

What are you up to this fine morning?

Morning -

What are you up to, hows your morning so far

It is when the items we sell are all disecretionary items - Tea and coffee related items - Some neat stuff too, I import a line from Scotland and another from Russia directly. Been working with a company to bring in some Yixing clay tea pots from China also - I'll post some pics of them later.

Is it expensive to import from overseas directly ?

You get better pricing dealing direct - Some extra things that one would have to pay - Import duties, extra shipping - Overall, it's more profitable -

From your old TV days?  I never really watched that show though, Little House on the Prairie FTW :D

I watched little house, flipper, big ben, the waltons and the jetsons.
Does that date me?
I didn't really enjoy taking showers with other men though I have done it
I move a lot...and drool....

There is no registration of non-assault-weapon long guns.

not yet anyways.

And there won't be anytime soon either.
I can see them stopping private party sales at gun shows.
I can see them requiring ALL transfers of guns to go through an FFL.
I can see an ammo tax or some sort of system that makes sales of ammo over state lines MUCH more difficult.
I could even see another federal AW and large capacity magazine ban.
They won't get the votes for registration though.
I didn't really enjoy taking showers with other men though I have done it
