If I feel extra motavated I can cut keys, but it is so much more fun to do it with slim jims and wedges and screwdrivers!
You have keys?

Yes I am pretty sure I will be going back out tonight, I am deffinately in the mood to steal peoples cars! ;D

Yep.

You mill off the rear of the frame, mount the safety and then blend the two together with a die grinder.

Do you have ignition keys or just breaking the ignition lock -

No keys are givin from the finance company, I am able to cut ignition keys in the truck off of a vehicle code.
but I think its way more fun to do it old school.

Nice, beautiful gun.  If all goes right, the Dan Wesson Classic Bobtail in stainless will be my first 1911.

Good afternoon everybody.  If we're gonna talk about 1911s, I'll throw in a couple:

Commander I've owned for 30 years and the Kimber Ultra CDP II that's listed on my Nevada CHL.

I like 1911s and have hope to own many more.
(picture quality isn't very good, but it's the only one of the Kimber I can find right now)

Oh Vegas - I am in love with those - Had a chance to pick up the Ultra but don't see a need since we can't have CCW here - Lightweight commander?

That one's a Combat Commander.  I bought it when I was young and didn't mind the extra weight.  It was my OC piece for over 20 years when I lived in AZ.  When I moved to Vegas I found that OC is rather frowned on, so I got my CHL and wanted something smaller and lighter.

Combat commander is even more rare - I have a lightweight in .38 super - She's been bubba by the previous owner - One day I'll get her back close to original -
