We have some Mormons at the restaurant - Drinking sodas like there was no tomorrow -

Jacques, what kind of coffee do you drink?

I go to starbucks. When I buy it, I usually get the beans at Costco. There is not a better deal than that.

Oji--great video.  I doesn't appear I'll ever get used to helicopters flying upside down; it still amazes me every time I see it.

I was looking for some music to match my mood. Then I found this version by luck!
Crazy chopper  (at the end) and hi-tech stuff (3:58 - on).
That ball optic thing on top of the choppper looked like it was from star wars with those spooky lens watching you. Eeeek!

Ross: it's wierd out there.
I was staying at a nice hotel in Miami once, needed grocery stuff, I could see a store just the other side of the freeway from my 4th floor room.
Headed out on foot, it was like entering a concrete jungle. Homeless up under the freeway, dealers and hookers and low lifes all over.
Kinda scary, had by pocket knife only 'cause it was a business trip.

well guys...

I had a few drinks at the house, just enought to get me wanting a bit more...

but what to do

I walked to the grocery store to pick up a few tall boys, just over a mile there and back

http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Oceanside&1s=CA&1a=322+Blue+Springs+Ln&1z=92054-5458&1y=US&1l=33.187232&1g=-117.362335&1v=ADDRESS&2c=Oceanside&2s=CA&2a=%5B700-799%5D+Oceanside+Blvd&2z=92054&2pn=Ralphs&2y=US&2l=33.1845&2g=-117.3676&2v=STREET#a/maps/l::322+Blue+Springs+Ln:Oceanside:CA:92054-5458:US:33.187232:-117.362335:address::1/l:Ralphs:1702+Oceanside+Blvd:Oceanside:CA:92054:US:33.191212:-117.361026:address::1/m::13:33.18922:-117.362189:0:::::/io:1:::::f:EN:M:/e

Kind of creepy under I5.
Yeah, just got back from walking down to the store here. There were a couple loud parties going on. There is one street that has gone kinda downhill the last year. Some of the houses painted their initials or some gang sign on the curb and the middle of the street in front of their houses. There is always a bunch of low lifes hanging out in front.

I stayed in downtown Minneapolis, they have a 'skyway' walkway system between all the high-rises.  AC in the summer, and heat in the winter.  You can walk from one of downtown to the other end without even going outside.  Really neat idea, and the floors of the high rises that have the walkways connecting them are filled with shops and resturants.

Even though its inside, the place is filled with homeless and hoodies and unsavories.

I was in Minneapolis for a Guidance and Navigation class. I walked in those skyways. I thought for the most part though, it was a pretty clean downtown.

I've been trying to get a Boston Market scheduled for service Sunday morning...  Nobody at the store speaks English.  The girls said the manager would call me back, that was an hour ago.

I've been drinking, and don't want to answer the phone now...
