Concrete anchors

Hey guys, happy black Friday. I'm asking if any of you have used this type of concrete anchors and how well they held up

Never user a concrete anchor that looked like that.  The ones I used expand when you screw them in.

Depends what you are fastening, and how many anchors you use. If a light fixture, probably fine. For something like a safe? I would rather use a expansion type anchor. The longer the better. 1/2" bolt size minimum.

O btw i am a plumber. We use anchors on almost daily basis. Another option is drop in type. The bad thing is you need a special tool to "set" the anchor.

I use Redhead anchors. What OP posted looks like a lag screw. That would work securing your safe to a wall but not effective when anchoring to the concrete below.

I have used them and they work great but you need a BIG impact drill/gun to get them to work properly. Used the right way and it will crush a 2x4 with ease.

I was talking to a buddy at work yesterday, he mentioned a impact gun too

Looks like the same, just make sure when you drill the hole in the concrete to clean it out good or you'll have a tough time tightening it all the way.
