P365 question

True to my word, I bought one, it's in jail but I'll pick it up before the weekend and hit the range Saturday.  Then I'll replace the popup LCI with this https://lurchmfg.com/products/p365-lci-delete-plug and replace the cover plate for starters.  I think the FCU can go into a different frame, replacing both the safety & mag disconnect.   We'll see if it works for me in the first place.  Not all handguns do.
I bought a G19 awhile back and sold it 3 weeks later; because between the G17 & G26 (I own both) the G19 combines the worst of both.

Put about 1000 round with my CA365 and never needed to clean the optic. This is a made up issue.

Congratulations!  Glad you found some work-arounds.  I think you'll really enjoy your pistol.

For me the worst Ca mandated feature that needs to go is the mag "safety".  The one on my Hellcat actually caused a hang-up that lead to a safety concern when showing clear during a training session.  It was a procedural issue, not really a design or mechanical problem, but still not a good thing on a carry pistol.  It's gone now. The external safety is more of a personal preference.  The LCI and printed "warning" are more annoyances that constantly remind me how petty this state government can get with its hate for the 2a community.

Good think, anything you don't like with the CA365 can be easily removed or replaced with parts that you like. I personally won't buy a striker without a thumb safety, as my daily carry is 1911 and I used to it - It's very natural for me. all the other CA "safety" add-ons are useless, and hopefully nobody relays on them before pulling the trigger. since they didn't cause any malfunctions with the P365, I let them be, otherwise I'd remove them.

Picked it up yesterday; the LCI is short; tiny.  Not a 1" bar like on my P229 that says "LOADED WHEN UP".  Looking forward to some range time this weekend.  ;D
