Someone you know ofcourse - I have a friend, best of luck with renters - He would rent out to college student - Perfect sit. for him - They stay just long enough till school ends - bam - out of there, next.

Not really sure on how to find out. Maybe look in the manual that came with it. Usually the heavier an invertor is, the better it is, because it has a better transformer in it. Maybe just do as you metioned, just use it to charge the battery with the computer turned off.

well It does list laptops and tv monitors as things it could power so maybe I will give it a try
