I really need to pay some bills and balance my checkbook...

I just have my accountant do that.

I don't let anybody touch my money.  My roomie was giving his girl money to make his car payment...  Then one day, he came out from work and his car was gone.  His girl was keeping the money and not making the payment for 8 months...
Damn, Id catch a case if someone did that to me.

I got her for 520 -

I can't believe all these years and no Garand - I however own 30-06 ammo for it already.

Well I am off to look/buy a Garand - Wish me luck as I know nothing about them, other than what I've read -

Good luck!  Every american needs a Garand.  When we muster up our militias, thats what we are supposed to bring.

how much is he selling it for ?

That's because you're not in need of a doctor - Probably just cold, flu stuff -

Because dental plans are very expensive - They have cut off for max amount spent each year - How about eye?

Just want you and the future family set-up  -

yeah, I opted for it all.  Medical was 90/mo, dental was 10/mo, and vision was like 6/mo.  I rarely get sick enough to go to the doctor, and when I do go to the doc, it doesn't do any good.

Congratulations and Very nice.  A new toy at a good price.  Be sure and post how it shoots when you can.

Wheres that taco stand at?
Ever eat at SuperBurger right there by Ocotillo? on the 86?

No, next time I'm out there, I'm going to hit up that bar...  Rusty nail or oak door, whatever its called.

The Taco stand is on the 76, kinda of near Pauma Casino

Was told by the seller that I should not use modern 30-06, something about it being too much for the op rod - That I should stick with m2 ball surplus -

Hey, funny everyone is talking Garand.
So, hmmm...I stick to standard calibers in hopes of being able to scroung up more ammo after SHTF.
But with all the 223, 308 etc in short(er) supply these days, maybe 30-06 is a good item again.
30-30 wil be found everywhere for years (I have a Win94AE), 30-06 should be too.
Hmmm...Garand...
Yes, why did I never get one?

You should get on the wagon -

I think the Garand is why I started liking guns...  That and my dad's old 1911.
I've owned several hundred guns over the years, including a bunch of different 1911s.  But, I've never owned a Garand.  Maybe I should do something about that.

I have heard, almost this same story, many times.  :-[

He must love her...  He's still seeing her, I think he's going to move back in with her soon.  But she is so shady...  She had a new Tahoe, but her credit was so bad, a friend had to co-sign for her.  Of course she didn't have any insurance...  She was seeing this guy who just got out of jail, he flipped out one night while they were out driving.  He grabbed the steering wheel and made her crash into a guard rail.  Totalled out the truck.  And then screwed her friend that co-signed.

Let me also note, the way they crashed is her version of the story.  You know how it goes with those people though.

You've got me thinking just that.  But every time I get to thinking I might buy one I find something else and the money goes.

Maybe I could trade an AR of the FAL for one?  But then again, I like shooting those...

Nice Garand Saigon.
You got a good deal there. Wish I could get one but I need to stay focused on getting everything I need for 3-gun.

Then she had her grandma co-sign a loan for a brand new Chrysler 300, then her grandma died like a month after that.  4 months go by and she hasn't made a single payment other than the downpayment.  She asked me if she could park the car over here one weekend....

She isn't even allowed in the house.  I don't need that drama.  She brought the excon boyfriend over here one night, looking for the roomie because she needed money.  They were parked in front of the house for hours waiting for the roomie.  I opened up the front door, and left the shottie propped up behind the security screen door where it was well sillhouted.
