I highly doubt it - Most will start charging fees after 30 days - You need to find another option -

Its a good one. Great if you want a starter to upgrade. They start at about $599 or maybe less new so $425 used is a good deal. I carry 1911's all the time. My kimber takes a beating, I love the feel and they shoot real well.

I know my name's not Saigon, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

The Springfield GI's aren't that expensive, $500-$525.  I got mine on sale from Turner's in nickel for not much more.  And, it's not rare by any means.  You could pick one up anywhere when you turn 21...

The GI's are very basic.  I wish mine had bigger/better sights.

I would say good price on those for sure. I am tempted to get one. Most places that have garands up here stock them in that condition for $900+

Hey, Ho!
Whatcha know?
Good morning all!

Thanks to everyone who made it to the BBQ!

Saigon, Frijolito, Moon Clip, apBrian 112, SpawnX, Cold Steel, Glock30, I'm missing someone...duuuhh....

Saigon: let me know if you want me to work on your 1911 that needs fixing.
MC has to sell you that P38 with your birthday on it!

MC: Let me look at that Colt New Service with timing issues. I'm curious, maybe fun to fix. (Get a replacement hand first, I can fit it).
Great show and tell with the 9mms!
No, my wife was not bugged with all of those guns on the floor! LOL

Frijolito: find us a bunch of cheap 10/22s. I need a couple more, too.
I'm pushing hard to have the kits before Xmas...

Spawn: glad you could join us...nice day for a ride up the canyon...let's go!

Glock30: are you going to ASR today...but not on line here...

Brian: glad you could make it and get away from the job for a few minutes.

CS: always a pleasure, wow yuhave 2 50BMG! Drool, drool...

Will post pics soon.

Sevice Grade from CMP is $595.  My sevice grade rifles looked almost new.  A little bluing wear, that was it.  I'd wait to get my C+R and spend a little extra money.  But, those are great prices compared to what others are selling them locally for.

Rack and Field grade are a bit more worn, and can be had from CMP for $450-$500
