Good Morning.  If anyone is here yet, that is.
I'll be traveling across NV this weekend and just posted a question about safely crossing state lines with firearms here:
http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=130551
If anyone has any advice, I'm listening.

Also, is there anything cool going on near the Inyo / Mono County line this weekend?  I might make it over to Bishop.  Does anything interesting ever happen there?

Good morning.  That's OK, I just want to run this by people who might know before I start making phone calls.

Thank you, your post was helpful.  I'll make sure to leave the rifle and magazines in NV if I head over to Bishop for the day, but for the short drive through CA, I wasn't sure what to expect in case of a breakdown or a traffic stop.  I always try to make sure I don't attract attention when driving in CA.  In NV our CHL is linked  to our DL and I always figure I'll  at least have a conversation with CHP officers about it if I get pulled over.

What happened?

no deer today....

We have a liberal spy in the Sportsman's Club.  This 'person', and I use the term 'person' rather loosely has emailed the deer and warned them of our presence in the field.

Jacques' daughter's arraingment was yesterday - Hope all went well -

That was stressful. Got home around 10 or 11, I forget.

Drove down and was there around 10AM. Could not get a straight answer out of anyone as to what time she would be up.

Sat in court until 4Pm. I had called my Bro In Law who is a Captain in Torrance PD and he called over there the day before to see what was going on. He said to just tell her to plead guilty.

The Sargeant sent her that message. She plead quilty and got a misdemeanor and 3-yrs probation.

I waited for them to release her and drove her home to other daughters house. I almost just threw her out of the car on the way because she was copping attitude and pissing me off. Got there and saw granddaughter which was nice. We ordered Mexican food and it was really good.

We all sat and talked to her and she copped more attitude, so we just put it to her. She will have nowhere to live if she keeps this up.

Apparently she is still going to school which is a good thing.

She is guilty as all hell for what she did.

To give daughter #1 a break, I brought Daughter #2 home with me. She is still asleep, did not get much sleep in jail.

I talked to daughter #1 last night again and I am going to talk to daughter #2 today some more about getting her shit together. Don't know if it will do any good. I offered her one last time to return here and start again. She does not want to.

She is hanging with shady people and going down the wrong path. She is 19 and I am done with the crap. It is way too stressful. She lies all the time and it is difficult to tell what is truth and what is not.

Touch choices to make there Jacques.  I couldn't begin to imagine what you've been through, and what you're going through.  19 is so young, mistakes will be made, and she will continue to grow and wisen up.  It just won't happen as fast as you want it to.

She is your daughter and you love her.  You may be the only guiding light in her life right now.

Ain't that the truth.  Hopefully i'll get to start on that sten build by the end of this month.

VegasND, no details to mention.  Standard Romy G kit, bent flat, a little welding, a little hammering, a little filing and there she is.  10/30 mag and raddlock.  This one is slated to be pink and white for the GF.

But HELP!!!  I need two Safety stops, and can't find any anywhere.
