Good Evening.  Just dropped by for a bit and read through the thread.  I haven't seen HolyTaco in quite some time--but I like this!

I think I'll call him and see if I can get him on retainer.  Never know when you'll need 'quality' representation.

Do you think he has won any cases? If he has do you think it was due to bribes or threatening the jury?

Y'know, I don't have a clue; but I'd love to see him in action before a judge. ;D

Are you calling Saigon an A-hole??

Nope, just anyone that tries to PM the guy and keep me from getting the gun.

Yars video was pretty cool. Looked kinda frustrating at times though.

The dueling tree was REALLY frustrating.
I missed so much that I ran out of ammo before the end of the stage.
I only had two mags with me that fit my gun and one that did not.
I gave that mag to someone and they had to load one of my good mags after I left it empty on the ground.
Then when I ran the 2nd mag dry, they brought the reloaded first mag back out to me.
f course I ran the 2nd mag dry much quicker than they loaded the first mag.

I usually carry 4 mags, but I loaned two of them to a buddy a couple weeks ago and they went back into my loaner shooting gear bin instead of my own shooting gear bin.

I have a complete extra setup (guns, holsters etc) that I loan out to get people started in competition.
I just need to dig through that bin and reclaim my mags...

No sling.
No speedloaders.
What you want are shell carriers that hold 4 shells each and go on your belt.
Get 5 of them.

OK. Sounds good. That will be that, next the Glock 34, but now I am not getting that until 11-21.

My son just got his 9mm upper. There is no gas tube. How do these cycle? I am curious.

Blowback.
The pressure in the case pushes the bolt back.
The bolt then continues back, extracting and ejecting the case.
Then the mainspring pushes the bolt forward, stripping a round off the mag and chambering it.

OK, I figured something like that. Can't wait till he gets it together. Should be fun trying it out.

evening.....so in 8 days I have my final for the class portion of school.  YAY!  I also have a 5 page paper on juvenile diabetes to write and a huge test to study for.  If that wasn't enough I have a Mass Casualty Incident drill at Treasure Island tommorrow with SFFD.

So Sorry I haven't been on much, but I have been busy, and will be busy this week!  Talk to ya all in about a week tho!
