Manny? Well, I hope we get to keep him.
My wife knows all the details, but seems like he wants a long term deal.
He could go AL and just bat, though.
I would hate for the Angels to get him.
But once you have a huge pile of money, more money makes little difference...so maybe he will stay here 'cause he does seem to like Los Angeles team and fans.
I want to see the youngsters paid a little better and keep 'em...Eithier, Looney, Martin, etc.
Casey Blake was a great addition to the team, keep him, too.
Blake Dewitt also a keeper...I spotted him early and I know nothing really...he has shined brightly! : ))

Off to retirement to Jeff Kent...he never seemed happy....LOL

Kent was a grumpy old man.  I liked him initially, but he was cranky as all hell 24/7.  He's really friendly with kids, tho.

Here you go -

http://www.thunderbayoptics.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=3678&zenid=166e5501b0199e13c60ee875eae0b0d1

It'll be good for looks - It has plastic feed lips that will eventually wears out - Don't know if you can retrofit the steel feed lips on there -

Can you point in the direction of the promag drum?

I checked in to this:
Pro Mag had early and late models of the drum mags...later ones have metal feed lips...if you find a plastic lipped model you can exchange it with them for the improved metal lip model.
I did some checking on the net and seems most people have OK results with the late model metal-lip drum.
But have to limit to 10 rounds for now for CA.
But in a few months, things might loosen up a little. C'mon, Heller! (Nordyke?)

The "stick" "teardrop" 50 rounder in the picture has been around forever, this is an old one I have had for years.

Last season I was watching Kent with my binoclears when he hit a double and drove in a run.
He came to a stop at second base and looked aorund to see that the run had gone in.
He smiled !!!!
I reported to the fans around me that Kent was actually smiling!
Everybody laughed!

You're reading it wrong - This stems from a gun show ban here in Alameda County - Thus the lawsuit was started - Nordyke are the folks putting on the show - They ban guns from being on County property, IE. the fairgrounds where the shows were being conducted -

I left my Finn M39 out in the sun at home today - The heat is supposed to help extract some of the grease/oil that's impregnated in the stock -

How does your K98 stock look?
