I looked long and hard at a Marlin "trapper" in 44 mag with a ported barrel at the Glendale show last week $500, xlnt condition.

Ross: wood: butt stocks and front grips done. Pattern change to front grip and related change to metal mount plate due to ease-and-consistency-of-production concerns completed and samples approved last week.
Rear grip slight delay as they made the pattern wrong and the head of the attaching bolt sticks out a little. Should be no more than a few days, though.
Metal is in production. Specialty hardware ordered.
working on packaging details.
Maybe after thanksgiving...pushing hard...all orders have been placed...soon...soon...

I'm trying to get Freakshow to mail his FFL to this guy in Ohio, so he can ship the AK pistol to him. He said he would, but his kid got sick, and his computer had problems so I do not think he remembered. I sent him an E-mail to remind him, but he did not respond. Hate to bug him too much. That was like Friday he said he would mail his FFL.

I sent the E-mail to remind him Tuesday. Do you think it is too soon to send another E-mail?

One thing after another.  I'll never use him for anything ever again.

Did you have some sort of problem? Who else would take an AK pistol and convert it to single shot?

Just send in the EOD guys.
Drop a few charges in them, or a couple 155mm shells and call it good.

What's your AK? Who build it? You know you'll have a hard time replacing the AK in this time period - I can see your AK going up in price here quickly - I'd just look for and buy an SKS - That flare launcher is cool but you'll not get good usage out of it -

What's your AK? Who build it? You know you'll have a hard time replacing the AK in this time period - I can see your AK going up in price here quickly - I'd just look for and buy an SKS - That flare launcher is cool but you'll not get good usage out of it -

My ak was built by overland industries its a romy G kit , thats what i was thinkign also i honestly could care less about ak's but i do want one. I was thinkign to my self il just buy self a cheap $400 wasr. but i think they are all dried up for the next couple of months

Those are words of wisdom Saigon. The AK pistols are already way up in price in the last week. If there does, happen to be a ban, that AK would be worth having.
