He was actually over here last night right before I crashed. But he was the only one here.

For the mods?

Yep.

I will need to buy the stuff I need first. Unless you sell it.

I have stuff for trigger jobs.
No sights or other fancy parts though.
I have the sight removal/installation tools though.

When a regular brass punch won't do it, I rig up a sight press with my milling machine vise.
I have yet to find a sight (even M&P sights!) that I could not replace that way.

direct replacement.  The rear sight should be easy enough to drift out with a brass punch, but I don't know how to do the front...

I saw the colt.  The sights should be easy enough to change.  What elsed needs to be done?

If it's a stock type slide, the front sight is staked into place.
You drill out the old sight and stake the new one in place.
There's a special modified pair of vise grips for the job as well as other special tools.

The other way (which I feel is nicer too) is to mill a dovetail in the slide and install a dovetailed front sight.
That's what I have done when replacing front sights.

That's really all I want done - Get rid of those funky sights, front and rear - Change them to something more streamline -

It's an alloy frame so I don't know how to refinish it - Maybe duracoat?

I saw the colt.  The sights should be easy enough to change.  What elsed needs to be done?

:p no I was drosing a 30-30
they mentioned there policy is not to increase there margins at all
the only price increases they will have are going to be if there distributors raise there prices
they had a gsg on the wall for 499

I could use another shotty though

I already dropped the plates out, pulled springs, tossed into a box. Took aout 2 minutes for all the mags.  Did you leave feedback?
