Actually, he is in the closet at Randall's house with some of Randall's collection of dead hookers.
There is a strange symbiotic relationship there somewhere...

Somehow, we got to talking about recycling centers and dead hookers at work the other day and someone said you could drop dead hookers at the recycling center.
I said that was great news because I usually have to drive out to the desert and dig a big hole.
It would be much more convienent to just drop them at the recycling center.

That's good to know because I've heard that around here near town all the holes already have a dead hooker in them; the drive is getting pretty long to find some unused desert.

My guess is the followers may have been the old metal ones instead of the cool green plastic ones that are supposed to be much better.

Mine were black plastic

What mags?
If they are old 20rd GI M16 mags, the metal followers are the most desireable.
Much better than the black plastic ones.

Green followers were the upgrade from black followers in 30rd mags.
Magpul followers are better than everything in the 30's.

I have not seen these. As long as they are the newer shape, should be good.
Usually you can get a 5 or 10 pack of the light green followers for under a dollar each.
Then again, that was a while ago.

I have a bunch of green ones I'd sell.  I've been switching them all over to the cool Magupl ones, but then Magpul discountinued their orange ones...

Same here. People are freaking out about not being able to find stuff, I found everything people are looking for with a quick search. Its just a hype!

I stopped by Turners today.  It was empty.  I mean no semi-auto rifles, lots of bolt actions and shotguns.  Just a few pistols in the cases, maybe half of what would normally be in there.

At least they had ammo, I picked up the usual stuff and a bunch of .22 (hint, hint, Oji).  I also picked up some steel cased x39 made by Barnaul.  It was cheaper than wolfe  :o but its for the AKs.

I went to pick up that pistol today - I've never been to that shop - Bob Chow used to own it back in the 70's - It's the last shop in San Francisco - They cater mostly to LEO - Not much is on the shelf but about a dozen rifles - They were busy so I didn't chat with them - Just did my business and left - The help was cute though - Asian gal -

A bunch of trolls most of all that posts in there -

Never mind, I found it.
(No one is here anyway).
Typing in a thread when no one else is there is kinda like talkiing to yourself except you get to read it back.

Crazy political threads.
Crazy people in those threads.

I'm thinking that's still true as well.  There are those occasional panic buyers who will pay $700 plus for a lower, but I'm giving a guy a call in Phoenix this Friday who claims, according to a friend, he's got a 'large order' (however many that is) of lowers coming in at $165 each.  If so, I'll have my son buy one then we'll watch for the rest of the parts.  I had wanted to buy him the parts for an AR 15 so he could build himself one for Xmas (or his birthday is Feb, his choice)  Maybe if we're patient and don't go nuts, we can still get it done without taking too many more weeks.

Yes. It worked fine. Except the extra mags he ordered do not feed correctly. The ones it came with feed fine. Need to figure that out.

There's a guy on .net selling a couple of complete lowers with stock for something along the line of 550-650 - That's not bad - Just add your upper and done for around 1000-1100 -

What do you think of my Colt above - I can't stop touching it - LOL

Your Colt is awesome. I wish I had one. The one thing about guns is you never get to handle them enough. Mine are always locked up. Would it be strange if you just sat there checking out your gun all night? Is it weird?

Man, I'm a real lover of 1911s. My first pistol--way back in the 70s, was a Star 1911 copy in 9mm.  My 2nd pistol was a Colt, and I've always had at least one Colt since.  I once had a 9mm Commander and, like an idiot, sold it.  It's one of the few guns I've ever regretted selling.  Had I noticed yours was a 9, I'd have oohed and ahhed all over it.  Very wise purchase on your part!

I don't think it's weird if that's all the time you have - Hell is it weird for guys to work on their cars at night -
