I have one garage door opener it stays in the car in the garage. Garage is always locked double lock and key unless that car is out even then . If gone for day or more . I lock garage and park truck or work truck almost touching door . Like most guys have tools that are enough to get into the house. Try to be safe ad possible . You can't prevent a break in but you can make it as pain in the butt as possible . Renforced doors ,frame s , key inside key outside dead bolts etc,etc . One thing I always tell my neighbors is someone's moving something out of my house and it's not going in my truck call the police immediately.
