I just reasoned it out. Knowledge supported by experiance and logic.

When bacon.net goes down, I always try bacon.org. Just seemed like the natural way to go.

I tried getting in here when I was banned from .net but the registration was closed then. Now I'm in!!!

didn't want to sign up, figured .net would be back up and was waiting.
Now with .net being down for possibly 2 more days, I had no choice.
I really need a life.

Exile Machine is in the house. Gotta get a Calguns fix somehow.
Time for CGN to sign with one of the major hosting providers. 99.99% uptime guaranteed. Redundant geographically dispersed datacenters, managed service, the whole 9 yards. Costs more but 2 days of downtime due to hardware failure = not good.

New hardware due on the 26th.
Hopefully the install / replacement goes quick and easy.
Otherwise, I may have to do something productive for a change.

With the main site down we've been forced to hold our nose and sign up on FB to get the word out about our new featureless stuff coming out next month. Can you say AK Featureless Backfin?

Egad I've signed up Exile Machine on Facebook to get access to the super secret calguns group to do some advertising since CGN is down, but to do so I first had to sign up as a human being with a personal account. So far I haven't had any calgunner's invite me to the super secret group but I have been friended six times on my personal account, including a long lost nephew and a chick from high school (at least she claims she's a chick from my high school; she looks way too young and an awful lot like a lady I met on Craigslist a few years back. IIRC she had a thing for Roses.

Consider me anal on some things, so here goes. I deserve all the hate I get for asking:
Can you make the "Go Down" link actually go down to the end of current topic? Instead of to bottom of current page? If it takes me fast to end of topic, then I can see the most recent comment. ::)

You should change the DNS address of CalGuns.Net to point to the IP address of CalGuns.org. As an alternative, if the .Net web servers are still up, put up an error page with info about the problem and a link to the .Org site.

I remembered there was a alternate site but couldn't think of the name as lame as that sounds.
so a quick Internet search and that's how I found Calguns again.
Then I told all the Calguns I could about the new Calguns .org
