Something to look at-Pistol with shoulder stock
« on: June 24, 2008, 02:52:44 PM »
Since the main forum is down and I've nothing better to do:

I bought the barrel and stock from a member here a few weeks ago and finally put it together.  I have not fired it yet but I'm not thrilled with the way it fits when shouldered, so I don't expect to like it much.  But I thought it would at least provide something to look at while waiting for the main forum to come back up.  The pistol is an Armscor government model of some kind I picked up a few years ago.

fixed mag, right?  Otherwise its an AW in CA.  But your username may indicate that it is in NV, so no harm, no foul on the AW issue.

And ATF is now saying that it is a rifle, and can never go back to a pistol.  Nevermind what SCOTUS said in the TC case.

Sorry, thought it was obvious, but I should have said it.  I am in Nevada and here it's just a pistol with a 16+ inch barrel which makes the shoulder stock legal.

Hope that  makes it clear.

Baby, if you need a spankin' you've gotta check with Chief!

thats the way that we read TC, but ATF is currently saying that that is not the case.  Unfortunately, if one were to be arrested for having an SBR, they'd have to fight it using the TC ruling.

XCR has that little metal appendage that she's going to install on the chief.
