My mom was a brilliant visionary, nearly what I would consider prophetic. She told me all this stuff would happen and I can remember her telling me about it starting when I was about 10 years old and beginning to question the world. Keep in mind this was 1972-ish. She told me don't worry about nukes (for now) the Russians don't want to all die. Worry about China, they will try and take us over through economic means.
She was a VERY staunch 2A defender. I don't know if she ever fired a gun in her life, certainly not in my presence. She told me everything hinged on the 2nd and they would try to rid us of it any way they could.
Everything she taught me went down just like she said... so I can't really say any of this surprises me.
