It is really windy and cloudy and cold herein socal. I think its gonna rain soon

Tomorrow.

I thought it was gonna rain today, pissed me off because it didn't and I could have rode my bike.  Driving the car is nice sometimes though, radio, beverage.

Straw is for the water -

It's going to rain here in the Bay probably tonight - That means snow in the sierras for the Thanksgiving weekend - All of the resort should be rocking this weekend - And I'll be at work -

You ski? I tried it once and tumbled down the mountian about 200 yards..never again

There was an LA Times article stating that ski resorts and manufactures were kind of dissapointed more minorities do not ski.  They have made inroads in snowboarding but for some reasons it seems that most Asians,Hispanics and Blacks are not in to it.  I vaguley remember a Korean girl in my HS becoming a paraplegic from a skiing accident.

So Randall what day is this WECG shoot going off?

I may cancel my Thanksgiving shooting plans and instead roll with you and Randall on Friday as we discussed earlier.

Just walked in here - What's going on Guna? How was the weekend hunt?

It was ok. One highlight was I finally seen some Big Horn Sheep alive in the wild for the first time in my life. I saw 11 of them.

Neat, I'd of liked to see that, I hear they are actually not that common.  My dad has heard the sound of them fighting he says.

I almost made it to the top of Sugarloaf Mt. The air starts getting pretty thin up there.

I am so out of shape and have not been doing cardio, even some of the litt;e walking/exploring we did tired me out a bit :(

The house elevation is approx. at 7400 ft.
The air was thin but I did not notice it.  It was vastly preferable to the smoke and ash air that wekend, I felt much better after a nights sleep.

SAIGON

check this out. let me know if you want me to check them out in person or pick one up for you

http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?p=1725260#post1725260

Ok price these days.  In 2003-4 $100 each was the norm though :(  I love Swiss weapons and culture.  A K31 used by the Swiss Guard at the Vatican would be a dream rifle for me and I'm not even Catholic!  I have seen those guys in person.

You don't want one?

20 minutes give or take

claim it fast and let him know i wll pick it up . if you want ofcourse i wont charge anything so dont worry about it

No im gonna have to pass. I already have to make a big purchase for the Garand

It does not truly fit in to your WW2 collection but they are fascinating well made rifles, get one eventually.  Remember Hitler was never able to invade Switzerland in ww2, operation Tannenbaum.  The Swiss and these rifles made him think the cost was not worth it.  Every other nation surrounding them was taken over.

Anyone have a need for these?

http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=133419

I have a real hard time getting my head around the stories and travails you folks have with gun locks.  Those are things I've got several of that I've never used.  I have never bought one.  They have all come with a purchase; one was given to me in my CCW class.

I have given tons of them to a friendly FFL I know.

Cool - Let me know how you want pesos sent to you - Paypal, slow mail -

saigon just got off the phone with the dude. its yours

Paypal.

Frijolito1988@yahoo.com

Let me know when you send the pesos. we talked about possibly meeting up at the costa mesa gun show this weekend

Don't flake on the show, I will roll with you probably or meet you there.  And Siagon enjoy the K31, good score.  It will be accurate and straight pull bolts are neat.

Let see how the stock is - There's a dude in San Jose selling one on Gunbroker right now too - It's not a laminate stock though - That's the one I really want -

damn saigon that dude is selling the russian sks for 350!!! man i wish i had cash

They look nice but IIRC only the refurbished ones have it or the stock reinforcing bolt in the stock wrist.  $350 not too bad these days.

Did i just make a good buy?
http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=133940

Big 5 has them at $80 sometimes but with tax and dros.  Recoil is heavy, ammo can be hard to find.  Weird, I just gave you a Nazi marked clip for that gun, I'm good luck!

I have one I got for around $70 OTD last year but I have not shot it yet.  Bolt is hard to detail strip.  Straight pull bolts are neat!

You did ok I think, I will discuss these rilfes with you more soon.

When you said Mossberg I thought of this one,

If you have a barrel the price was ok I guess for this one.  He appears to be one of those sellers who lamely removes prices after a sale and puts spf though ::)

Watcha think of gun #2 here?

http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=77187

Heck I'd want both of them.  The Gold cup may be a better deal but the nickel one is a series 70 gun, hard to decide.  Seller does mention he may have other Colts for sale.  And did you respond to the gouging thread yet?
