yeah you got a point. Get milsurp while the getting is good though. Once an item is not being imported anymore they dry up quick and rise in value quick too usually. I am sure you have heard the stories of $100 SKS many times as an example.

US milsurp has been pricey for many years. Though I did notice the Big 5 sale has USGI M1 carbines at $600. These were like $30in the 1960's IIRC! And as low as $100ish at one point in late 1980's for reimports from South Korea.

How much? It would be an interesting item to own if you can keep from shooting it. I think most of the production went to Italy IIRC.
