Just the one - Sure like another though - You know anything about them? From what I understand, the aftermarket are quite sucky -

Negative.

I dont trust the .204 round for coyotes anymore. .223 out to about 150... 200, 22-250 for anything out to about 400-500.

Don't know much about them, just that I could have bought one for probably $50 a couple of years ago. But I bought something else instead.

Yeah, I know plenty of folks who use it too, just not me anymore. The first three coyotes i shot with the .204 ended up being runners. 2 of them were solid hits (found em later) and the third was never found.

I just prefer my 22-250 now, but will use the .223 sometimes.

Anywhere from 5 to 500 yards. Usually between 25 and 100 but Ill push it if I feel its a good shot.

What is a .338 spectre barrel? Strange question I know but are they specially turned? Looks close to a 6.8 to me. and since the BCG is a 6.8 for a .338 it got me thinking. What do you know??

It's a 10mm magnum pistol case necked down to 338 caliber.

I have spoken with Marty before on reloading and such for the 458 and 338. I was wondering if the .338 barrel was the same as a 6.8.

Good morning - Get up and enjoy the day everyone -

Oh I'm up.  Wife wants to go to Phoenix today and enjoy the sales.  She'll tire out early though.  I'll check otu sale prices on 10/22s for the little project I've got in mind.  Otherwise no gun stuff planned for today.

I did get a call from a guy I work with after I logged off last night  though.  His brother isn't allowed to have a gun in the house by his gf--so he dug his .22 rifle out of my co-worker's garage and wanted to sell it.  A (supposedly barely used ) Remington 597 (OH WHY C OULDN"T IT HAVE BEEN ANYTHING ELSE????)

Anyway, I said I'd buy it for $75--they don't even know if they want a bill of sale or not.  I told him I'd write one up for him to make him feel better.  Why can't I work with people who have an old Colt or Smith or Garand or some cool war trophy they are afraid of?

Oh well, enjoy your leftovers all--I always liked leftovers!

Seems like a lot of folks are not out shopping - I am here working at the mall and we are quite slow - Lets see how the day pans out for us -

Hunting sounds cool for tonight -

You can still find stores that are not gouging -
