I have been disappointed with the sporadic sluggishness, failures to load, and now this outage.

I don't know what's up but I'm calling to find out.

It looks to be at least a database server issue but there might be more as well.

yup, both are down.  Hopefully doing some Stage 3 upgrades.

edit:  looks like calguns is back up. THR.us has a tech difficulties message now.

Last nights outage was due to a front end server error that was fixed by a full restart.

This mornings seems to be a database server issue, which I'm trying to resolve.

We have even more hardware coming in next week to handle the load and it will be needed. Calguns is pulling 3,000,000 hits and 20,000 unique visitors per day.

We'll get the server back up, just have to whip the hamsters a bit.
