Hello all. Went to our little SoCal shoot today with MC, Randall & some other buddies of Randall's. It went quite well. Special thanks goes to Randall for inviting us to the privite ranges of the WEGC.

Was very nice of Randall, I appreciated it, I hope flake Frijolito joins so I can go more.  My lowrider and my bike can't navigate the road.  It was a trap though, Randall did not tel us gate was locked on way out :o :D

What year/arsenal 91/30?  MAS 36 dates from when?  Prices?

I don't understand the raising price because I'll be out of inventory - Wonder if I can do that at the restaurant? Almost out of ham and don't know when I'll get more so your sandwich will now be 12 dollars -

Me either, I guess the gougers want to justify it somehow with a weak/tired excuse.

The prices on perishables go up and down by the week - We can't change our pricing to reflect the constant fluctuations of the market - I do look at the menu pricing every quarter and change a few things - It's easier on our customer that way -

For 4 years when I bought my 1st place - The customers were telling me when will I raise my prices - I was affraid of losing customers and din't do it until the 6th year - Only a handful of people noticed the price change -

I eat out A LOT so I do notice prices.  If resonable increase I don't care. If high I tend to go to places that are not so high naturally but only if food styles and quality are similar.

I don't understand the raising price because I'll be out of inventory

It goes like this:
If I can't get more inventory soon, I need to make more money on the inventory I have sitting here.
Some people won't pay the higher price, but that's OK because there are still people that will.
It's better to have some high priced guns sitting here when customers walk in than nothing at all.

I didn't raise my prices on election day and I sold-out within a week.
Now I don't have any uppers to sell.
I keep turning down business because I can't get inventory...

There is a sucker born every minute and a damn fool every 5.

Ever used "Tap Magic" cutting lube?

About 100x a week.

But from what I understand.. Aluminum, wont need cutting oil. In fact, Crisco cooking oil is good enough..and your lower smells like french fries....uuummm, french fries.

Used to use Crisco for preventing chai fires in bp revolvers.  And I know a dude that used a tub of butter for a,"special" lube in an emergency :D

[Gonna carry. Weird that it happened to me still. It was a surprise to see them in the act.

I suprised two guys trying to steal my motorcycle one night.
My bike had an alarm and it went off. : ))
I jumped out of bed, grabbed my Mossberg and headed out the front door.
The BGs took off running fast. They ran away and around the corner at the top of my street.
I didn"t chase them 'cause I had the gun and did not want to be running around outside with it.
The BGs jumped ona Kawasaki triple 2 stroke and fired it up and rode away.
These bikes are rare and have a distinct engine sound, so I knew exactly what is was.
I watched for the triple in my area the next two weeks, then one day it was outside the local liquor store.
I sat back and watched the rider come out and head off.
I was in a car and followed some distance behind.
I followed him to his house and then drove away.
I got my motorcycle and roe over to his house, stopping two houses away across the street, sat and watched the house.
One of the BGs came outside to the garage, then looked around and saw me sitting there.
I made a gun using my fingers and thumb, pointed "it" at him.
I could see his eyes get real big, even from across the street.
He ran inside the house and did not come back out.
I had no more problems with them.
 ;D
[/quote]

Cool interesting story, don't Triumphs have a distinctive sound as well?

Guys am i not supposed to  shoot any ammo other than surplus on my garand ? Not surplus or reloads ? I heard that they are sensitive and may blow up??

You should only shoot military type 147/150gr loads, or equivalent reloads.

So what surplus is ok?  Korean a no no?  I though Danish was great?  So something like generic America Eagle would be ideal?

I made it up the mountain nice and easy.

If you have been wondering why MC has not been around lately, he is a bit under the weather.

glad to hear you made it ok, does mc have the flu ?

He may or it's just a cold.

Not sure what it is/was. Seems flu like but I am not diarrrheaing and not puking.

It would make more sense for me to go to you.  Gunaria rolled in to VNWK and Chivas today with me, I had to stop by my sisters pad for a sec.  Things have been a little tense in the varrio though.

In that post I told Sia65 that he needs to get an FN49. :)

Venezuelan is 7x57?  If so, neat!

Yeah I saw that in a later post, if the price is right I'd try a triple K though, I think they have a warranty.  I'm not sure if my mag is original or not but it works.  I may try to pick up the .380 version too if the price is right one day, some of the older guns like this are neat like Astra 300 and Remington 51 and Savages.

Nope, we are leaving this afternoon to go home. Gonna put up the xmas tree today,

I have always wanted to try stringing up popcorn and cranberries for a tree.  if I had a real family I would do so.  My neighbor one year cut down a forest tree for xmas with birds and stuff in it, lol.  My grandma used to do up xmas treess that rivaled the presidential ones.  I like stars for the top of the tree better than angels.
