That is the cheapest version, serviceable but with a somewhat fragile rear sight. I almost bought one like the picture here but in nickel for $252 nib in 2007. Got the next best version used for $185 instead used. I like it a lot, so did Marcelo.

So, I was talking to some black guy about jobs and he says he can't get any because he is black. I told him that he can't use that excuse anymore because the new prez is black. I asked him what he and the rest of ghetto black America will use as an excuse now and he called me a racist. I told him the reason he can't get a job is because the owner of the business didn't want to get robbed and also because of he and the rest of the ghetto populations mentality of I'm owed this because I'm black.

My new excuse after Obama is in office is that I can't get anything because I'm white.

My daughter moved to La awhile ago. She called me testerday and is really upset because everyplace she walks into to look for a job is full of latinos and they laugh at her and pretty much just tell her to go away. She is really pissed about that.

But yes, I think a lot of this economy stuff has not trickled down to general populace yet. Though a divorce has taken me to the brink of financial ruin, and there are signs and people that are being hit, the other shoe has not dropped yet.

For the 25 years I have worked as an engineer, I have never been unemployeed. It has been very close, because I have been at 4-places that have had plant shut downs. This place here is only about 90 people and strings along. It is sketchy. I have been thinking of looking around. It is not very challenging work either. There is definately more interesting stuff to work on, but the people that have been here for a really long time think it is, like, some state of the art vodoo magic and they are on the cutting edge. I know that is far from the truth, but I just play the game.

Do Vietnamese celebrate the same thing (Tet)?
What are the traditional dishes for Tet? Whole suckling pigs, whole chicken, ducks, etc?
Anything other significant dishes that is very different from the rest of Asia?

Yep - We will be celebrating Lunar new year - Traditional festives is for 1 week leading up to and after the 1st of the year - The dishes are traditional too -
