Ivanimal says that if you are banned on .net not to post on .org.  Why don't the mods automatically ban someone from both at the time of a .net ban?  If one is banned on .net then and posts here, what will happen, the .net ban will be extended?

Has anyone ever been banned from .org and not .net?

I also have some ignore list ?'s but I have not bugged the mods with them yet.  Some time back they were kind enough to answer most of my ban type questions I had wondered about.

Guys, we might be better off bringing the TAN to another forum all together.

They are plenty of pretty liberal boards that will put up with us.  We can tell what dirty jokes we want and post what pics we want.

If you can figure one out that will have us and will approve on the TAN concept I am willing if it becomes necessary.  I don't think it is at this point and I'd like to stay here if possible.  Gunboards has a very OT forum called the minefield with a seperate password but they don't like threads to get over 300 posts IIRC.

I have the last post on the TAN 2 and I think on the TAN 3 on .net that was deleted.  Why am I always around when the TAN threads are locked/deleted :'(  I feel like I am a jinx.

For some reason I want a salad with blue cheese and good bacon bits right now.  I get cravings like a pregnant lady!

What did you guys do?  I go to bed and you get the mods all pissy and locking threads on you!

Did I miss something cool?  HUH?  DID I? ???

I did not see anything too bad or outlandish.  It seems when the mods want to close a TAN they do so at an odd time and it is not always for a specific reason or against the rules post.

Read the last post in TAN 2 for an explanation, something about how TAN is/was going downhill yet we do a good job of policing it?

The FFLs on .net who are known gougers after the election are getting all pissy because I post my opinions on it on the gouging type threads.  I love some of the lame/weak excuses some come up for to justify price gouging on lowers that were in stock before manufactures/distributors started to gouge.

It is even implied I am a liar on one of the threads ::)  I am one of the more honest people you could know.

Marcelo if you see this give me a call later or I'll talk to you at TS tonight if I make it, I need you to post some replies on .net regarding this stuff and your 1st hand knowledge of the situation.  Try not to get banned though :D

Anyone know why DS got banned again?  Or Very Cool Cat?

I am watching that movie Stop-Loss, interesting.

The oldeer the berry the sweeter the juice?

Stop Loss seemed like it would be a PC left wing turd of a movie, was it?

I am here working on the pricing and other stuff for the website.
I just got an email that the metal vendor wants to review the quotes they gave me. : ((
I hope the price does not go up.
The quote was higher than expected so I trimmed my margins to keep the retail price as low as I could.
That's why I had the questions on distribution chains, etc.
Also I have been taking some more photos for the site, takes a long time for a camera amatuer like me to try and get the lighting right etc, not sure if the photos I did yesterday are good enough.
The fun thing about working from home is the (usually) schedule freedom.
The bad thing is I end up working on weekends and evenings.

I hope the TAN continues but I feel its days are numbered.
Either it is kept squeaky clean or its gone, which I would be sad to see.

I paid a guy to do the  photos already, but the website guy says the photos are too bright with too many light reflections. He dose nto want to spend time to photoshop them. He suggested avoiding the use of flash and using static lighting. That's what the photo guy did for me here..separate lights, we used step ladders to support them at various angles to eliminate shadows and reflections, filter screens over the lights to dull the reflections etc. We spent a full day on photos. I guess it's just a frustrating morning.

I will check with Boo...hopefully talking to him will not get me banned...LOL...isn't he up north?

I would really hate to see the TAN go away, as we have discussed before.
Sounds like we just barely "dodged the bullet" last night.
Please, please, please everyone, keep it clean so we can stay together here.
