I've not been able to get on since around 1300hrs and try every 15/20 minutes.

It worked okay for me earlier today with relatively good speed. It had the occasional lag but not as bad as it has been. Now, I can't even login.

It was working great for about 30 minutes.  Now 504.  I'm a very patient guy but its even testing my patience.  C'mon Kes....2 years?  I can understand holding off upgrading vB to keep the iTrader folks happy but man.....its becoming frustrating!  Constant zippy then zippo.......

Seemed okay for a few hours, then started timing out again.
Very frustrating.
This is the only forum that seems to have these problems (at least that I know of)

I was able to get on briefly this AM around 0300hrs, but got the usual boot after a few minutes.  So far today unable to get back on.

Maybe in "two weeks" all will be better...

To say we ... the ones hanging on, are loyal is an understatement!

There are many CGN'ers abandoning ship and going to the new CAguns - if there is such a thing, I've not even looked. Or they are going to other forums and such ... whatever.

I am hanging on - in remembrances of the heyday of CalGuns.net when we used to have EPIC threads and temp-bans and perma-bans and trolls and re-trolls for user names after user names and we would hunt for them and pick'em out and Kes have to ban them again and again ... over and over.

We need to get those days back when I'd come home from work, before I had an on-line smart phone, and FIRST thing I'd do is log on to CalGuns and see what's happening next. If we could bring thise days back when we had popular members and they were smart and fun and belligerent and goofy, and off color, and friedly, and anti-social, and mouthy, and wordy, and argumentative ...

Paul, did you keep the requirement to be logged in to see OT? that could help with excess traffic.

maybe the next test, make logging in a requirement to see anything.

OMG - 9.12.24 8:46 AM and CGN is on dark side of the moon AGAIN ...!

I found a really great video of cop plugging a bad guy carjacker in the act, in the passenger seat, driver (woman) behind the wheel ... and the COP fires four shots through the windshield and freaking PLUGS the creep ...!

I want to post it on CGN - but ... it is what it is.

We (users) don't know yet.  Seems to be sporadic but also times (before 8AM and after 11PM PDT) that it seems to run flawlessly/fast.  Still unknown whether it's a server bandwidth problem/hardware problem or it's something in the software (bug or hack).
